Ended up feeling kinda "meh", like it had way more potential then what it ended up being.
I'm not saying it wasn't a decent read (it had quite a few highlights), but this story could be WAY more. There were many unexplored areas and ideas and so plenty of interesting and deep plot lines that didn't get any thought, making the story feeling effortless (and not in the good sense) - like Tae being insane and murderous (and Siyeon's boss, which is the one I expected toward the most and yes, the reaction was interesting, but it came out a little flat for me), the relationship Siyeaon had with his ex (and basically everything about the ex), and the mentality of a person that is willing to go and kill people for a living.
The Manhwa was interesting in it's own right, but it could be so much more;====;
I'm not mad, just disappointed.

    Yes i agree. If felt like a rush ending...but i think is more that the author didn't have a clear plan for the characters so it just ended. I still enjoyed reading it, but it had so much more potential.

Quite a few of the pages layouts had me wishing I could give this 10 stars. The art moved me so much;-; what a sweet, touching story! it was tolled so elegantly, I'm going to remember this for a while.

Every time I read a toxic yaoi, I just get back here and stare at the cover until I'm feeling better. bless.

Gave up on ep 17. 17 episodes and there was almost no change in the dynamics of the relationship, just the uke starting to like the seme for no apparent reason (maybe besides Stockholm syndrome XD). Ignoring all the infuriating things about their relationship (I can usually disregard those things but their entire relationship was based around manipulation and the over-powered seme, it was all too much rape and unfairness and all of it in my face so I just couldn't) it was pretty blend to me, I'll probably forget it ever existed in a day or so. The charterers were "meh" at best, the plot was pretty flat and the important things (that got spoiled to me in the comments after quitting), that seemed like they could be maybe interesting, were just left to the end bit like an after thought, second to the way less active main plot... which is a shame because that as the main focus of the story could have made things infinitely better.
I mean, if you write a toxic relationship that represented positively, at least make it interesting, special (aka caste heaven, Kuchizuke wa Uso no Aji and so on) and with just a little bit of understanding. Please.

Is's been years and still, I will never be able to accept that this is the end. So short it should be illegal;-;

Manga's that are actually cute without being creepy, toxic or annoying are so rare, I feel like I just found a magical creature. That was so sweet and in good taste. Not an incredible piece of art, just an overall good and heartwarming story that brings everything to the table at face value.
I didn't know how much I needed that in my life. My heart is complete.

    These kind of manga are like medicine after reading some dark yaoi

angie January 2, 2020 9:08 pm

This just might be the best yaoi I have ever read. So heart breaking, honest and real. I'm coming back here for years. Sensei is one of my personal favourites, I love her so much;_;

Could NOT get over that ending. I liked the charterers but god the omega just did him so dirty (and the alpha's brother is blaming the alpha like he somehow could've figure everything out by himself. wut). I don't have a problem with this being used, but that should have been done extremely differently, with a lot more care and thought (and s different tone cause this is rapey). Can't get behind that. It literally destroyed the entire story for me.
I don't tend to get this pissed about another rapey concept but the omega is just painted as such an amazing guy that can do no wrong and no one calls him put. So frustrating.
~also the kid could not feel like more of a plot device just throwing it out there~

    I'm confused... I don't think the omega got raped, right? The omega himself said that he feels like he forced the alpha to do it with him because the omega likes him so much and didn't run away during his heat.

    I guess i didn't explained myself correctly XD my problem was the omega, not the alpha. he used the alpha and didn't even bother telling him they had a child together. and then, somehow, although he wasn't even in his right mind while all of this happened, the alpha got all of the blame for no reason. left me confused and annoyed.

angie December 25, 2019 10:01 pm

It could be so decent. But. Why. Too much unnecessary rape. god.

angie December 25, 2019 8:08 pm

Kind of a shame that there was so little focus on the omegavers part of the plot (it felt so minor 90% of the time, I actually think most of the story would have worked better without it) but it's so cute and wholesome to read so I don't mind all that much:D

    I feel like because there was so little of it we were able to see their characters better and not just a heat/mate driven omega

    But omegaverse dosent have to be heat/mate driven to focus on the omegaverse aspact:0 I would reather no omegaverse than one that's done poorly.

    The omegaverse aspect is important tho? Like

    -if he wasn't an omega he wouldn't be pregnant. And maybe the reason why they had omega candidates was because the family needed to have a child (I'm not sure about the author's rules about omegaverse tho, since it varies on the author). But long story short they need someone to bear a child.

    -Jin's idealism came from the concept of omegaverse. His family owns a pharmaceutical company and he cares about the medicines that they produce.

    -Itsuki's parents are both female, but with different 2nd-gender. If this wasn't in an omegaverse, we won't see two females got married and have their biological children.

    So I don't know what you meant when you said that this manga didn't focus on omegaverse? You mentioned that "an omegaverse doesn't have to be heat/mate to focus on an omegaverse aspect", so what specific aspect did you expect from this manga when the little things are what makes it more important and clear that this should be an omegaverse?

    Just like Nali said, we got to see more of them because it didn't focus on the heat/mate aspect, and I agree. As little as 6 chapters, I think that it's more vital to see who they are and how important Jin's goals are, how Itsuki didn't have the confidence because he thought he was useless, but Jin reassured him and told him that he was kind, rather than focusing on usual cliché omegaverse we see in almost every o/v manga.

    I get what you're aiming at, but the universe itself does not feel real at all. An actual solid omegaverse feels like a reality that is almost dystonia-like, with a different outlook on love and morals - a reality that is natural for people who grew in this kind of environment - and that's what I'm personally as a reader looks forward to read in omegaverse. That of course doesn't mean that omegaverse can't be realistic and lighthearted at the same time, but the aspect of the charterers reality can't only be used as a plot point that gets into the story just cause - and that's what I felt like that most of my reading experience. Everything feels too nonchalant and unimportant, things come from no where. the alpha omega status doesn't really matters, cause 99% of the story would work exactly the same with normal human charterers just with richpoor status instead, a girl instead of a guy (I don't personally think omegaverse is a good outlet for Mpreg [which I actually love when done correctly],but that's a debate for anther time I guess) Jin's Idealism in alternative way is very easy to replace and the fact that Itsuki's two parents are female is great, but not irreplaceable. Omegaverse does not justify people being a certain gender just cause plot. It's irrelevant to me.
    I actually liked this manga, but the omegaverse part was not good to meXD
