How many chapters did the anime cover from the manga ??

I dont think he's marrying to hide his sexuality.
He never said he was gay and when he talks. He said gender doeant matter.

He can have sex with either gender. He's most likely bi.

The only thing wierd is he does talk about love or loving but he doesnt seem to love anyone.

Normally I would agree with you, but in this case he seems to be bisexual...

Firstly, he doesn't like that girl, doesn't have enough feelings to get married to her.
Secondly, he said he wanted to be "normal" not gay, so that he can live normal.
Basically, from my point of view, he is using that girl to hide his gay part, and live a "normal" life

Yes but he still doest show love to anyone and he can have sex with anyone. He doesn't seem to treat any of his partner with love, male or female. He doesnt seem to care about anything.

Also it doesnt really matter about marriage. Even if the blond guy was straight. No one wants to be forced to marry. It just seems like marriage is a force thing where u are gay or straight.

I somewhat get what you mean, but the pressures in conservative societies in particular on people to get married to opposite gender partners is immense.

And if you identify as LGBTQ+ and don't act 'straight enough' then it has been known that families and work environments will pressure you with hetero marriage and dating.

I'm not suggesting that's the entire meaning or reasoning for his unfeelingness but it would make a lot of sense. Living in the closet whether gay, bi, pan etc. is incredibly, incredibly difficult. In, I would argue, nearly every society regardless of how open the society seems.

Well when it comes to the president daughters, everyone is pressured. Even if he was bi, gay , or straight, if the President liked him or the daughter liked him. He would be under super pressure to marry or he will lose his job.

It's more of a business married and can be stressfull. Because its something ppl have to do not want to do.

But my point is. That the original poster said the blond guy shouldn't marry to hide his sexuality, but this isnt a regular marriage. She's the President's daughter. It would be disrespectful to decline regardless of sexual orientation.

But if we are saying, be's being unjust to her. He's not being just to his male partner either. He knows his partner dislike smoke. Doesn't care and even blows smoke in the black hair guys face.

you never make a move on a drunk person, that is considered sexual assault because the person who is under the influence is not in their right state of mind.

Of course the author did if that is how she wants the story to go! I mean she's the one creating this manga and if she planned for Rio to end up with Fujishima at the get go then that's the way it's gonna go lol. And besides after seeing Hikaru do that to Rio I wouldn't be hurt to never see his character again ever again, or at least for awhile.

... I mean this is the kind of characters that exist in real life...
Have you read the main story?

I would rather read about characters with bad pasts than characters that are all normal and this and that. Let’s be honest what makes a story interesting is something bad happening. I only know a few authors whom have made few stories where the characters are happy all the time

Well then... you know that people actually do that stuff, right? And your excuse for dropping this is really screwed up... not because you want characters with bad pasts, but because you don’t recognize that these two characters do have incredibly bad pasts. I’m so confused as to how you can get upset that the author made this realistic with all the drama.
