In terms of story, what is the best bl you've ever read?

little mushroom. It won an award for best sci-fi so that speaks for itself. but aside from that maybe its the genuine and raw portrayal of humanity from the lenses of a non human character. its not just a love story of a mushroom and a judge, but also a love letter to humanity at its core. thats the best feeling i can describe reading little mushroom.
additionally, global examination. this novel was the reason i got into thriller/survival game genres in the first place. just the concept of your path being so intertwined with somebody else that u find yourself meeting with them in time… again and again and again— not despite but amidst everything (iykyk)

It's one of the highly rated manhwa here, so I went to read it. Sadly I couldn't like cirrus. He felt annoying to me (because of the blackmailing). So I dropped it really early. I understand why everyone likes it tho. Maybe I should've read the whole thing just to see how it goes but reading it made me feel anxious.

Stigmata. Its like if game of thrones was actually good (minus the dragons and incest). I love the intricacies of the plot and all of the characters. I also love the heavy religious symbolism and themes. Its so goated I want to see it animated someday.
Murderer llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation. It starts off unique and creepy but it reveals itself to be a very emotional love story. I think the ending and flashbacks are a bit rushed in the manhwa tbh, so I'd recommend reading the novel instead.
MADK. I don't really consider this a bl tbh because it feels more just like a tale of obsession rather than lust/love. But anyways I love the worldbuilding, I love the demons' character designs, and I love the characters themselves. Its honestly pretty depressing and the middle dragged a bit but wow the ending was so beautiful and tied everything together.
Aaand my all time favorite, Sangyang the wanderer. its a bit hard to explain the premise because its so intricate, but basically its about these rich clans, in which each clan heir has a guardian to protect them. I love how otherworldly it feels, despite taking place in our time. The characters and worldbuilding are super unique as well. It feels more like a shounen than a bl to me tbh, which is something I love. I don't want to get into spoilers, but all of the hints towards the twists are there from the beginning, so its super fun to reread it and see what the author was hinting at.
All of these stories do something I love where they show the the past and how that impacts the characters and the trajectory of the story itself. It feels like these characters exist outside of the stories themselves ykwim? Like even after the story ends they'll continue to exist in their own worlds.

Damn, I just counted and I've 230 tabs in my phone, all about mangas/manhwas/novels that I've left after reading them halfway because I was distracted and wanted to read a new manga/manhwa/novel...I wish I could delete these tabs but I'll lose my progress and may forget about these stories

not to jinx you or anything but I recently lost all my tabs on my phone without realizing so I couldn't even "open recently closed tabs". I think you should make sure to bookmark or something. I mean if we're being realistic here, bookmarking them would be the same but better than keeping those tabs open, they are both things that you are not likely to revist anytime soon

Damn that's scary to witness. Sorry that happened to you. Yeah It seems I've to bookmark them as soon as possible. The annoying thing is that some of them aren't even any mangas/manhwas. They're list of mangas/manhwas/novel. Some tabs are about people recommending specific stories to other people (that I want to read but haven't read yet). I reallyyy have to organize them to save my phone *sigh*

Girl I recently cleared and deleted all my tabs of the past 2 years.
Honestly they aren't worth keeping.
You'll never go back to them and you'll likely stumble upon them again anyway.
If there's one you rly want to read create a reading list and add it there and just scroll thru it when Ur searching for something new to read.

Recommend me emotional bl manga/manhwa/novels that focuses on real life social issues like -
https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/shimanami_tasogare/

Yeah I read it a long time ago and loved it a lot. I remember crying so much while reading it. I nearly forgot about it. Thank you for reminding me about it.
I also read - https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/haruka_tooki_ie/ which also focuses on real life social issues I would say. I remember crying a lot while reading that one too

Oh wait I confused another manga with "ao no flag" because they have the same artstyle but I do remember reading the manga till the halfway point (because I remember the hair cutting and accident part). Well I'll re-read because I remember that I really loved it. "Ao no flag" doesn't have any Jdrama. I confused it with another manga

Can anyone recommend me any manhwa with two tsunderes that love each other but refuse to admit it. I want to read something cute and lighthearted. (Preferably bl)

also this is a novel but "Annoying Zhao Gongzi" is probably as close to cute tsundere x tsundere you'll ever get

It would be nice to read a villainess story where the villainess (aka the mc) is poor, average looking.
All of the villainess story usually have an extremely beautiful and rich villainesses (that is the mc) along with poor commoner fake nice female lead (that later betrays the mc).
It gets annoying to read the same thing over and over again. I want to read a story where the villainess actually struggles a lot to change her body's previous actions.
It would nice if there's an underlying mystery in the story that she doesn't know about because she's not the original owner of the body.
it would be nice if the og female lead doesn't turn into a villain and acts like she is supposed to according to the original story ( just like how joonghyuk didn't turn into a villain in orv) and it would also be nice if the story isn't focused in romance or has slow romance that is good...

Same! There are 100s of villainess stories and most of them are barely average. I don't know which one is good and I don't want to read anything bad so I don't usually try them out. Only some of them are really good! But I never read anything like this in a villainess story. I do know a villainess story that has a good mystery but it's not reincarnation and the mc is also not the villainess. I would okay with a novel as well

hey so these aren't like what you said but...the og FL (poor commoner one) is actually nice in both of them.
beware of the villainess (fl is actually besties with mc, lighthearted)
kill the villainess (darker, mc actually wants to return to her world, fl and mc relationship is complicated but they're friends sorta)

It's called - https://www.mangago.zone/home/manga/annotation/the_holy_grail_of_eris/
And if you want some other recommendation to villainess stories with mystery as a subplot then you can try-

Recommend me a good doomed yaoi manga/manhwa( preferably bl, I'm okay if it's straight couple tho).
Two sets of people that exist for the sake of each other but they ultimately can never be together. Their relationship is filled with tradegy and sacrifice. Recommend me something like this.
(+points if their personality is different from each other and yet they want to know each other better because they feel far apart from each other)

This is honestly the most tragic thing I've read...The character depth is immense. They had no one by their side so they could only remain by each other's side. I've cried 4 times while reading this. The guilt, hopelessness and yearning...every one of these is potrayed so brilliantly in this manga. One of most fav manga for sure. This was so depressing, I'll think about this for some days at least. I loved this. Thank you for your recommendation!

okay so idk if this will have a happy ending or not cuz its ongoing but tbh it feels very doomed so far (praying its a happy ending tho) https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/sangyang_the_wanderer/

Wow...70 chapters!? and it's ongoing... :D
I'm actually happy to find something so long. I've never heard of this manhwa even though It has so many chapters. The black and white art in this manhwa is truly unique and unsettling, makes me curious about what the story will be like...I'm sure it'll be a good one looking at the comments. Thank you recommending this!

Recommend me any bl manhwa/manga where mc is stuck in a bad relationship or bad home environment or any kinds of bad situations and he's saved by ml. The mc has past traumas and he starts to recover after dating the ml.
It would be nice if any of you could recommend me a list about manhwa/mangas like this because I found no lists about this...

Can anyone recommend me a cute rivals to lovers or enemies to lovers bl manga/manhwa? I like slow-burns with good plot. It would be good there aren't any toxicity like rape or ntr in there...

I think I read that novel before it got adapted into a manhwa. I think only the mc sees the ml as a rival when he's reading fanfics about their relationship. The ml likes the mc. There was so much misunderstanding between them (tho I don't remember now) in that novel that I dropped it. It's probably good as a light-hearted and comedic read with little plot tho

I'll so recommend this as a good rivals to lovers if you are okay with not exactly a slow burn. But...... in my defence, this story atleast doesn't start with thump thump from the 1st chptr......

Which one should I start first? Heaven's official blessing or mo dao zu shi? Is both of them connected to each other and should one be watched before the other? I watched heaven's official blessing a little before but dropped it because I couldn't understand lots of things so I was thinking of watching mo dao zu shi first
no connection at all. start anyone
are you reading the novel, manhua or watching the anime? (or idk live action in mdzs case)
Great to know. I think I'll watch mo dao zu shi then. Also can you tell me which one explains things better? The anime, drama or the manhua?
I'm not sure which one I should watch/read. I watched heaven's official blessing as a anime before when I couldn't understand it so I was thinking of watching the live action in mo dao zu shi's case...
see if you planning to watch mdzs drama (untamed), prob do that first. because if you read the novel/anime/manhua etc first, you'll be disappointed bc they have cut alot. (tho i'll say, it's good as a separate work).
regarding the anime or manhua, the manhua is closest to the novel (with explicit scenes cut) and anime is 2nd best. honestly just choose what you like better
so basically the censorship order is this: novel > manhua > anime > drama (untamed)
i personally have only read the novel and watched the drama
in heaven official's blessing case, honestly the anime is pretty good. (better than the mdzs anime for me) but if you don't understand it, read the manhua (novel would be best but if you don't want to, manhua is good enough)
i know this sounds hella complicated, so just try out whatever you like best. it's not really that important to read/watch in a particular order or even read/watch everything. it depends on what medium you like best
