Yes yes, the translation is wonky. The essential theme is organ transplantation. As a bit of a Japanese history lesson, to those of you who don't know, organ transplants were outlawed in Japan for quite awhile until around the 1990's. The politics of the whole issue was chiefly ideological in nature: it is a Buddhist and highly East Asian belief that ones body parts carry a massive amount of the individuals own personhood - organs especially are latent with unique energy. If a person has died and they do not have all their organs (i.e.: their organs are still living in someone else's body), there logical conclusion was that the "incomplete" person's spirit would not pass on.

That backbone of understanding in Japan was a VERY hard obstacle to overcome in the legalization of organ transplantation. This story explores the very possibility of all those cultural speculation: what would happen if someone received a transplant and the spirit the donor was still one with it?

Ah, and there are also many Western stories of transplantee behavioral changes, ostensibly due to the very same spiritual phenomenon speculated above.

I was looking for a manga with twins a boy and girl, the girl has a heart problem, she had a heart transplant when she was a little, also her father was a doctor, he found a boy who was sick so as desperate as he was he lied to the boy's parents that he had some incurable disease and that he would die so that he can take his heart for his own daughter, many years later the twins have some twisted relationship, i think it was incest, the girl falls in love with the brother of the owners heart, but her brother doesn't permit thins relationship so they elope together(the bro and the sis) but they didn't bring the medical pills so the girl dies, it was so tragic, in the end her brother commits suicide, also the girl died trying to call for her boyfriend(the brother of the little boy that died because of her, and also he approaches her because he wants revenge), before the brother commits suicide he brings the cell phone to her boyfriend, it was a sad ending. Apparently volume was released in japan two extra pages were added to the end where they actually tell you the name of the flower!! The flower name is called ニリンソウ or nirinsou, which has a couple meanings, but the one I think is used is, "I'll never let go". So the girl adopts him. And at the end of the story they later get married. Thanks!!
