i don’t understand why everyone is blaming everything on joowon, i think both joowon & haesoo are at fault equally- but i really do think joowon is misunderstood & since he’s the oldest i feel like everyone has this perception that he always knew what he was doing but really i think from the beginning he always did love Haesoo, but he’s aware that if he persues this relationship he’s at risk of losing not only his dad, but this new family his dad introduced, his career & also his first love (because let’s be real no one would manage to withstand spitefully comments from the public & we know since joowon is a celebrity of this news we’re to come out not only would joowon get hate but so would his loved Haesoo & there’s only so much joowon can do to protect Haesoo from all the hate and backlash. Then we have the fact that his dad told him to end it all or he will be sent abroad
i think he sincerely loves H & he would take him in any way, whether it be as a partner, a lover, a friend, or even a sibling because he’s scared of the idea of losing someone he dearly loves. so i think in the endgame if he does lose Haesoo to Taku then he definitely will be hurt but he will learn from it and slowly move on, he won’t forget his first love but he will learn from his mistakes and heal.
yes he’s possessive but i think he’s shown as even more possessive as the plot progresses because joowon is now aware that he’s rapidly losing Haesoo to someone who isn’t him and now Haesoo’s life doesn’t revolve around him anymore. That no matter how desperately they both want to be with each other, no one can deny how much they love one another (i mean Joowon even purchased a ring for him) in the end it seems perhaps destiny was not on there side because now joowon is finally starting to acknowledge that haesoo is seeping throughly his finger & is perhaps moving forward in life with someone else :/
no matter what the endgame couple is: i will faithfully remain a joowon & haesoo lover & protected ! because for me they have a special BOND, perhaps they truly are soulmates
i just started recently reading manga & i am completely enamoured by this story- i know some people may consider the feelings & relationship between haesoo & juwon as toxic & as though there’s a power imbalance but i truly believe that they both do have feelings for each other but perhaps juwon is afraid to take it any further because he know just how damaging the spiteful comments would be towards him & haesoo if they were to become official & then both of them would lose a lot more than they bargained for. who knows ? we’ve still yet to find out why juwon & haesoo act the way they do regarding relationships but it is just a theory.
on the other hand, i’m not too sure about taku’s character, i feel like he is a nice person but the way it’s described it seems he’s been obsessed with haesoo way before he knew of him personally ( or maybe that’s how fans truly are for someone they admire, because we do know that taku admired haesoo’s work) but i don’t really ship taku & Haesoo :/
can’t wait for the update & see how the characters & plot progresses & develops
so i see a lot of negative comments about Joowon, i think i’ve seen 80% of the comments wanting taku and haesoo to be together and disliking joowon & the rest wanting to give Joowon a chance
but the questions is, if you are team Joowon, thumbs up this comment. If you’re team Taku, reply to this & if you’re team neither, dislike this post.
I’m team Joowon- i think he’s a very complex character, it seems like he’s indifferent to everything but really i think he does genuinely love Haesoo & we gotta remember so far all we know about Joowon is shown from Haesoo’s POV, so its most definitely a tainted and biased view :))
Sorry i dont wanted to Dislike. Im Team Jowoon and Haesoo ♡♡
Im still team taku :)
I feel bad for joowon but just that
Taku's character is my favourite, he's smart, cunning, confident, and he knows what he wants.. I'm a sucker for this type of characters/people. I'm reading this story mainly because of him. But I'm team neither.
Joowon's character is not that interesting to me, but I love his looks, he's beautiful.. It's obvious that he's in love with Haesoo from the begining (I don't understand why people are even debating it), but that doesn't justify some of his actions. I'm talking about grown up Joowon.
I don't support relationship between him and Haesoo for many reasons...
I also (still) don't support TakuxHaesoo ship, mainly because I don't know what Taku actually wants and what are his intentions. I still can't figure him out, but that's what I love about him..
Still, whatever author decides to do, I will not complain, I love this story!
just out of curiosity why is it that you don’t support Haesoo & Joowon ? i mean a lot of people don’t because they’re “ex step siblings” but other than that ? & yes i like your points in some of these but i feel like not a lot of people actually understand joowon’s character, they just see what he wants people to see & like how Haesoo has fallen for it so have many other readers- i feel like Joowon is a very complex character but everyone is looking for an antagonist & they see joowon fit to be it because he acts assholish but really they don’t give much credit to his character
Thanks for asking! I actually don't know how to answer your question, but I'll try..
When I started reading this manhwa, I was kinda disappointed with Haesoo and Joowon's personalities. Haesoo was cynical and kinda cold, and Joowon was acting arrogantly confident, but it was obvious from the start that he was hiding problems behind his fake smile and bad jokes.. It's just my personal taste, but I don't like this type of characters. And I just couldn't connect and sympathize with them as a couple. I didn't like dynamic between them, they are always provoking each other..It's kinda sexy when you're flirting like that at the beginning of the relationship, but it gets frustrating if it's like that all the time, you can't relax with your partner.
Now I understand both characters and their circumstances much better. But I couldn't connect to them as a couple at the beginning of the story, and it stayed like that until now. Chemistry between them exists, but I don't like it.. That's my sincere answer.
There are other reasons why I don't support them, but if the pair was likeable to me, I would probably find a way to justify those reasons.
Sorry for my bad English ^^'
