I'm reading the novel right now and I'm sad that they changed some things going from novel to manhwa. For example when MC kept stashing money under the couch and the big bundle fell in front of him, he looked up and ML had his hand up because he dropped it on purpose and was smiling at him. I just thought the situation was funnier with the novel setting

I'm glad I'm not alone by thinking that it being intentional is way funnier and cuter. Really shows how much attention he's paying to the puppies antics
I know, this manhwa translates the novel well but of course there are discrepancies and this is one of them that got lost. Also, his "safe" is not just under the sofa but a hole under the sofa so the money can't be seen but some is letting him hide them.

After some time (more than a month) he could barely fit in the hole because his puppy tummy got fat (so cute)

So I am actually a little confused about the setting. MC tried saving pado as a child when he was drowning and ended up drowning himself while pado lived. Now a bunch of bubbles gave him a chance and brought him back to life a few years later?
I think pado is not the kid that got saved by the mc
No mc and pado were childhood friends and they fell off bc mc was scared of his sexuality but continued to think ab pado for a long time and at some point he died trying to save a random kid and he j thought ab how regretful he was to not be able to apologize to pado and ended up coming back to life more or less to fulfill that regret I guess
