It’s not rubbing off that way , it feels like she using his feelings of wanting to be with her to her advantage. I feel like he’s doing this because he doesn’t want to rejected . The only reason he because submissive is because of his desire to be with her. This is my take on it

Having sex with someone who likes you is not using them. She’s said to him a million times that she does not like him and never sugar coated it. She also told him the things he needed to do in order for her to agree to dating him. Everyone in this thread is coming up with excuses and dumb reasons to hate these characters. If you’re sexist and prejudiced, just say that.

She made him do a bunch of things that she didn’t make the other guy do, because she knew he had feelings for her. Her friends literally confronted her about this but she kept having sex with him ignoring his obvious feelings.

She made him dress up and she asked him to do things because she knew he wouldn’t leave. That’s using somebody. She’s using him for just sex, which is using somebody. Even if she wasn’t using him, she still needs therapy. There’s a difference between taste and trauma. She’s likes feminine men Bc her ex was muscular and abusive. She feels more in control with people like Araeum.

And no I’m not sexist, I can be prejudiced yea, I won’t lie. But for the most part I’m a neutral person, which is why I say they both need to work on themselves

1. The sexist comments are towards the people who are talking about okjae being a dominant woman and areum being a submissive man. That comment was towards other people in the comment section that I don’t feel like individually addressing.

2. Okjae made Areum do things according to what she finds attractive. Let’s revisit the first love interest introduced for okjae. Do you not remember how she bought those clothes for him to wear when she found out he was seeing another girl? From the start, she talked about buying those clothes for him too.

3. Regarding her friends calling her out for her behavior: did okjae not have a conversation with areum regarding this after she realized what she was doing?

4. You’re deciding that she’s forcing him to do these things because he won’t leave. Time and time again, OKJAE HAS TOLD HIM SHE DOESN’T LIKE HIM AND THEY AREN’T DATING. There have been points where she has gotten angry at him calling her his girlfriend. Tell me when she hasn’t been transparent about her feelings? Whether she knew what areum was feeling or not, she always made her feelings and intentions clear.

5. Okjae has also addressed her trauma. She straight up admits it, but you need to stop acting like her fetishes define her trauma. Trauma or not, what you like is what you like.

You guys are turning these characters into things that they are not. You can dislike them, but don’t start making stuff up.

Dude do your research seriously. Fetishes don’t determine your trauma you’re right, your trauma can determine you fetishes. I literally stated exactly what happened, that’s not making them what they aren’t

And I know she addresses what she did after talking to her friends. Either way she used him. Her not getting therapy is what she did wrong, aside from when she used him.

Simply talking about it to others isn’t addressing trauma. Going to a therapist frequently is. Which from what we see isn’t what she’s doing.

Her finally acknowledging Araeums feelings doesn’t eliminate the fact she isn’t going to therapy.

Also I love Okjae, she’s my second favorite character. Me addressing a character isn’t making things up. It’s a fact her friends addressed her, which means she was in fact using him. It’s a fact we never seen her go to therapy. It’s a fact the comic addresses all the major points in ending her old relationship except her going to therapy. I literally only stated facts lmao

I never said I see no issue with her. Also, how is seeing no issue sexist? The difference between you and me is you’re saying things with nothing to back you up.
