As someone who reads the novel. I know he’s annoying right now but he becomes a total badass. He’s such a cool mc once he goes through character development. He becomes an important figure both in the game and irl. So you can imagine how powerful he becomes.

this story is literally based on stockholm syndrome. her first instinct was to save the person who kidnapped her and cooperate with him. wow. it wasnt even her fault that her actual father did not stick to the original deal and was greedy. so instead of being angry with him she fell in love with the kidnapper. real Einstein behaviour right there.

She loves the character of the ML from the novel she read, thats why she wants to save him. And since she met the 'real' ML from the novel, her feelings of adoration will eventually turn to love.
