Lets be real, none of these characters every had any ill intentions and this outcome is just the tragic result of many unfortunate coincidences. I feel mostly for Jinha, but's his actions are unforgivable (violence, rape).

***MAJOR SPOILERS***
Basically, Won in his youth led a really lonely life and suffered from his parent’s emotional abuse and his tutor’s sexual and physical abuse. He ran into the super young version of Jinha after running away from a physical altercation with his tutor. Little Jinha at the time tended to his wounds and showed him kindness that no one else showed him before that left a deep impression. He was deeply touched and it gave him strength to keep going. Fast forward to college, he see’s the Jinseo in college and mistook him for Jinha who took care of him in the past. Jinseo knew that Won was in a dysfunctional relationship with another man (the tutor). What started off as pity eventually became affection. Their relationship becomes sexual because Won saw his saviour in him and Jinseo comes to like him (or rather obsess over him) . Then when Won visits the family home, he realizes his FWB is actually the old brother of the kid in his memories and became elated in finding his saviour but couldn’t do anything to since Jinha couldn't remember him. So Won had Jinseo dress up in the same clothes as when Jinha was a kid, started to get closer with Jinha when he visited the family home, and when he realized that Jinha was spying on them having sex, he smiled bc he saw Jinha getting hard watching them. Eventually Jinseo clocked in that Won didn’t actually like him, but was using him as a rebound for his younger bro (the irony! ). Basically each bro thought they were only seen as the shadow of the other in the Won’s eyes. That is why Won was so fond of Jinha in ways that wasn’t there with Jinseo.

Just like how authors are allowed to post stuff that's literal trash, we are also allowed to criticize and denounce it.

The reason why these yaoi authors pump so much souless thwop thwop r@pe drivel out there is because there's a market for that stuff. And I want to be as vocal as I can about this so I and others like me see stories that are better written. I want that for my peers.

I want more better stories to go mainstream. R@pe is always going to exist one way or the other in yaoi, but I don't ever want it to dominate the front page or define what's popular, because that sets a precedent for authors to write terrible stories for the hope of getting more exposure.

I've been on this website a while and I've noticed a general craving for well written BLs with epic love stories here. We control the narrative folks, so don't ever forget it. Advocate for that shit. Let authors know you aren't as easily gonna be swayed for a few chaps of that thwop sclorp shclick shlick. Lol
