Aight, done with people saying Taku had no character development. Hate me all you want but it's undeniable that Taku had a huge emotional growth. He went from being someone cold, distant, who didn't know what loving and caring about someone felt like, to someone who gets anxious when thinking about losing the person he's in love with. He's now someone who is desperate to have his feelings being reciprocal and to show affection, in hope he might feel needed and loved as well. Haesoo made Taku discover all those 'ugly' emotions such as jealousy, anxiety and anger that are a bonus when you fall for someone, but he also made him discover beautiful emotions like love, hope and genuine affection. It's so cheesy but lovely because Haesoo made Taku more human and less 'perfect'. They are learning from each other, they are amazing, smart and communicative people who are growing together.
Most credits go to the lovely Fabi (@tinyhsoo). I could write so much more but I'm gonna leave it at that.
This goes to all Joowon haters, Taku haters, and Haesoo haters: Its okay to dislike a character, but keep in mind that nobody here is the actual antagonist/bad guy. The author loves all of them and has put a lot of work into each one.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk, good night.

Taku deserves an award for being the most misunderstood character of the century

dunno. I mean Joowon literally gets compared to actual rapists and murderers like Sangwoo or Seungho when he's pretty much just a normal guy with short temper. Taku's character is pretty unique and he gets misunderstood but for the most part, ppl just brush him off as weird. The thing is the author intentionally write Taku to be hard to understand, it's part of his charm. Joowon's personality is pretty straightforward and the author clarified the reasons for his past actions explicitly yet there are still people refusing to understand him out of willfulness. Its ridiculous

the issue isn't about ppl disliking him but about ppl deliberately misunderstanding him lmao. why even compare him to psychopath characters, as if they're desperate to focus only on his bad actions when he had other moments too. there is already the concept that "joowon is bad" in their heads and they refuse to see anything past that, u can't fully enjoy the story like that. i never understand why ppl do this, as if whatever they think about joowon will affect the ending of the manhwa. same goes for deliberately misunderstanding taku or haesoo

I'm so upset about the author's spoiler that haesoo WILL choose someone :/ Like, I want Haesoo to recognize himself and his talent as the brilliant write he is, not at Joowon's brother nor as Taku's model. He doesn't need a lover, he should resolve all his insecurities and be proud of who he is. That would be the perfect ending, but oh well..
