Night Fragments
when the 'plot twist' chapter was dropped, many people voice their unpleasant feeling regarding it, as do i aswell. But, the last chapter 'explain' more to ease reader heavy heart regarding the soul merging. to explain it (spoiler start)-------- yes, author does the merging soul to justified aryka blue eyes, but also somewhat 'save' ary when he went to that reincarnation gate i guess. people thought yeon merge soul will be part of ary and was disappointed incase part of yeon personality might appear in ary, but that is not the case. as i was mention before, yeon has his role and serve well. you will not be missed. unfortunately i don't like him that much and don't have much sympathy toward him till the end. so I'm at least glad with this plot twist. -------------(spoiler end) if not for the last chapter 'explaination', i too will forever be disappointed with author doing the plot twist of soul merging.
I Became the Lousy Side Top
I've read the novel ending. honestly its a bit different than manhwa, so much more details in novel. I honestly don't know why character such as Mujin even existed. His love is unrequited, he is a gangster who will do anything to get what he wants, he's the driving force of the 'drama' in this story, he's a scumbag, yet he's so pathetically sad with this one sided love. I've never seen such character stick till the end. He is an antagonist. but why do i have to feel bad and sad about how miserable he is? like, i do. but also he's a scumbag too. i hate him but also feel bad. i feel like this is one of those rare chance where i wish the author can give a side story for him. make him have someone who can make him happy despite him being an antagonist. if he were purely scumbag all in all, i wouldn't have thought of anything with his character. but his character is so flesh out detailed that i think he deserved his own story. that is why I'm always against anything related to love triangle, love polygon, love rivals. it made me feel bad for the characters that love is not reciprocated.
note: in the novel, there is 4 chapters side story, and its yaoi. unfortunately it is not translated and i have no way to access to raw. i guess if you don't know already, Jaewoo is the bottom. At first when i read this, i find it fascinating that in the supposedly scenario, Hyunjin is bottom while original Jaewoo is top. now that the soul changed to other people, it the other way around.
Get the Heroine's Script
I really like this. Somehow its really different from any other 'historical' genre, I don't know what these type of genre called.
Especially the main characters, the shou (uke) is not annoying, not a tsundere. Gong (seme) is not persistent, calming, and even if he does want to pursue, its rather tame flirty way. The slow burn romance. I don't really like refer to main characters as shou or gong, or seme or uke, since they have a name. Its just easy to get my point across because in this case where the BL dynamic is obvious and its the aspect that usually get me going to read most manhua is the type of shou and gong characters they are. What we get usually where the gong is persistent, the shou is tsundere. That's why I like this one quite a lot because the MCs is different that the 'usual'.
When the Killer Falls in Love
fuck the story is so good?! its been a while since I've read BL that has a story that so engaging. Especially the last chapter of season 2, fucking cliffhanger.
There should be an award for most suspense cliffhanger, this one would be the winner.
