I dont use this word often but this comment section is full of victim blaming. Wtf is wrong with y'all? I hate naive wishy washy love interest as well but Ami was literally not one. She has a toxic family environment with the dad patriarchal af and a mom who abuses her emotionally and physically. And then we get to her boyfriend who also uses her as emotional outlet not letting her have her own opinions, threatens to kill himself when she wants leave him, rapes her, and hits her. She's literally stuck with no way out then this famous director shows seemingly genuine warmth, a way to her dreams and a way out. Only the guy is fucking sicko using her for his fantasies cuz she looks like his "first love" or whatever and hold her captive for years until he gets her pregnant. She finally is starting to get her life on track and the shitty ex shows up when she has responsibility to a an actual child not this manchild that wont let go and some time to heal after all these shitty years. Like for first time the female lead isn't the problem and is an actual victim but people are cheering for her abusers who have no depth to them at all??? Tf???
I was on chapter 1 and i saw the two fucking and the boy two faced mother, then when she walks in and that director looks at her astonished I was like "nope, fuck no, this shit aint my type" but by reading the comment section, i understood the whole plot without even reading thank god i saved my ass( ̄∇ ̄")
You guys must have not read a lot of yaoi. This actually interesting. While it is an unhealthy relationship I wouldn't go as far as to say it's toxic. And unlike other yaoi's it portrays how both sides are too cowardly to openly communicate with each other. I would go as far as to say this has the least twist and turns everything is laid out there and we know what the issues are pretty fast. Also big plus is that there's no type of sexual assault. I'm shocked at how much arguing there is in the comment sections for a manhua that wayyy more tame then the typical yaoi with this kinda unhealthy love triangle. (I'm in support of the 3p btw)
So freaking unique. Especially compared to the typical or "atypical" yakuza stories. So thrilling <3
