Hi! I've seen the news of this series getting a 3 season anime adaptation so I got curious. My question is,am I in the right page?Is this the real manga adaptation of the game? Is it okay to read this series even though I didn't play the game or do I have to play the game in order to understand the story?

i would recommend playing the game if you don't mind visual novels, or grinding a bit to read the other stories faster. but! the manga is very very similar to the game, i find it more stimulating actually! so don't worry about it. the game has more events and lines for the characters but the manga follow the original episodes

The part I'm reading right now is about the war with the Evil Tyrant Alliance.Tang Gunak and the other strong members of the Tang Clan are far away, this is so fucking hard to read right now because the Tang Clan is being massacred. Chung Myung is incapacitated, critically injured. Baek Cheon is also critically injured,had his dantian broken to save Chung Myung and is coughing black blood. Yoo Iseol is severely injured. Jo Gol and Yoon Jong are also injured, tho not as severe as the others, they're very weak right now.Tang Soso,as the only doctor with them,is also injured and extremely mentally drained.Hye Yeon, Tang Pae, Namgung Dowi, and Seoul So Beak are also injured but all of them with the rest of the Heavenly Comrade Alliance are hurrying to rescue the Tang Clan even tho they knew they might already be too late. I'm still reading this part so I don't know if the Tang Clan will survive, they also don't have their home anymore in Sichuan and are currently being chased and massacred (at this part of the novel, all of the members of the Emei Sect and QingCheng Sect has already been killed)

Although the novel has many comedic part, this novel is actually deep with tragedy tag,I think the manhwa is lightening it up a bit or else people will bawl their eyes out. The more you read this story, the more impact the first chapter of the manhwa will have. I have already forgotten how many times I've cried from reading the novel. I think this is about Chung Myung's enlightenment because you need to overcome/accept etc your inner demons in order to move forward and get stronger. Most of the time, the inner demon refers to psychological trauma/fear/negative and harmful feelings
If I remember correctly,the reason why Chung Myung is more desperate than ever with making himself and everyone around him stronger is because he already knows that Chun Ma has already reincarnated like him.
