Usually the seme wouldn’t change at all, and it would only last a chapter for the uke to forgive the seme. However, in this story— the seme actually shows remorse for his actions, and actually cares & loves the uke gently in later chapters.
idk who "us all" refers to because there's plenty of us who didn't switch up. a lot of people are choosing to ignore his continues problematic, manipulative, and toxic behavior because the author has done a good job at disguising it as "love" and portraying him as a complete simp.
