This is extremely common for Chinese webtoons. Rapist male lead and bitchy female rival who hates the female lead for no legitimate reason. And this stuff isn’t really directed towards young girls.

Well I don't know how much is actually fantasy since I do remember that waterballoon event in China where grown man would assault en harras (young) women. When other men would help or try to defend the women they often got beat up...
