Now I'm at 43. Does she keep up with this attitude? I try not to put any moral/ethical code when reading fiction but maybe since the situation is kinda close to home....
So Amy knew that Nox, as a child, had an extremely difficult childhood. She treated him what he should have deserved and, then all of a sudden she abandons the same child and then go to hiding for three years? They find each other again and now she makes this absurd deal...? DJAksnjkdsc aAAAaaaAaa
Feel free to react negatively or passively.. or anything if you agree/disagree. I am unable to clam down hahahaha

Hello I have still not clamed TT
Because to me, if you act extremely nice to someone with the full intention of breaking their heart in the end, it really makes me angry.
I enjoyed reading the first half of this series but now I'm upset and not even sure if I wanna continue. Maybe when it's completed..? There will be major character developments hopefully since there's not a lot of chapters out yet.
Sorry for the long rants xD I was super invested the moment I started reading..

I do not like Cosette… nor the duke. Curious as to how his redemption will unfold heh

This is heavily implied that so I guess so.
His marriage to Keira's mother was basically imposed on him by her family.
They did whatever they could to drive the 1st wife out the household.
From spreading lies about her being "barren" to wiping out her entire household to make it easier to eradicate her. They were callous and ruthless. No wonder the count wants revenge.
If you look at prior timeline he has flashbacks about the 1st wife that indicate he did have feelings for her UNLIKE Keira's mother.
He did things with "Cosette" he never did with Keira like go for walks etc.
He also showed more warmth to her that even the maids began to have the audacity to say openly Keira wasn't the Duke's child to her face.
Keira looks exactly like her mother which is another clue. Why he prefered Cosette and mistreated Keira her entire life.
Also in the first life he KNEW she was his biological daughter but still voted to have her executed anyway.
So much for "neutrality" and publicy denounced her as a "fake".
Unhinged villain? Yep, I'm in the right series alright. n_n
