Well sex is Doyun's and Taehan's love language. There has been character development tho! If you reread from the beginning to up to now, Doyun's character had major changes! He gone to understanding himself more, learning to express how he loves Taehan more, and realizing the realities of the omegaverse world. I agree that I would like to see more character development in Taehan however. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

i think them having sex is a sign of stability in their relationship. the artist is portraying the development of their characters through sex and although readers are reading/watching about the sex in multiple chapters, in their shoes, the characters are only having sex for a few hours at most. so, i think it’s ok that this webtoon/manga is about smut because it’s their way of expressing their love.

Well keep it mind, they had to go through something traumatic recently. To us it feels like it's been a long time because it's been weeks. But, what happened to them has gone by in only a few days, so they're trying to cope with it.

which is why the sex is important. we’ve waited for a long time for an update and tbh yaoi is half plot half sex. you can’t have one without the other. there hasn’t been a continuous amount of sex before this section so it’s ok for the author to spurge and write about sex. i think that’s the appeal of yaoi. sure, sex and smut isn’t everything but the plot overall benefits from the sex

I've seen yaoi that doesn't have a ton of sex scenes and can still deliver. Don't be condescending to me about it, I've literally read a thousand BL books to know that it ain't always half plot half sex. I liked this title, it's just tiring to see so much sex scenes when it's obviously just filler.

i wasn’t being condescending??? i was trying to show you a perspective that differs from yours???? i didn’t say anything mean or anything, I was informing you of my feelings toward the smut scenes and how I THINK, not believe, sex is an important of part of their relationship. also you mentioned that you’ve seen lots of yaoi without a ton of sex scenes and that’s great! no worries about that. but for this webtoon particularly, the sex and smut is a significant sign of stabiliy and love between the characters. sure maybe you don’t really like the sex scenes as much. that’s ok! it’s fine to not like sex scenes as much as other people like me. but what i do not like is that you’re implying that the author is just filling the plot with smut. not only is it disrespectful to the author, but also the author is trying their best and you should respect that instead of degrading their efforts to just “filling the story”. having sex scenes does not mean the webtoon is not delivering. sex, no matter how others view it, is a normal, natural thing and should be treated as such.
