there's just something that really irritates me about taehwan's character (which i assume is intentional on the author's part, so kudos tbh). i suppose its in his little spiel about how he assumed dojin was some pure, innocent, always honest guy and that's the reason they became friends, but its like....my dude no one on earth is an angel, and its insane to put your "friends" on pedestals like that. it's also kinda annoyingly hypocritical how his concern in this time is framed as "what else could dojin be hiding from me???" when we know taehwan is absolutely hiding things from dojin (aka his entire backstory that we aren't privy to that probably explains his reluctance to be associated with anything ""gay", and thus the reason why dojin misunderstands his reason for being angry). like, sure he has the right to be mad that he feels lied to, but the entire overarching explanation was kinda whack lmao, and all i can do is hope this holier than thou schtick of his changes with character development.
also not a big fan of how the comment section is struggling to understand his maybe, maybe-not internalized homophobia. it's hard to gage on what level our sympathies can match up with him without an adequate backstory, but it is possible to feel bad for taehwan for obviously experiencing some kind of emotional turmoil that comes with this, and it's also possible to be critical of him for holding, at least on some subconscious level, an attitude of aversion to the gay ""label" that implies gayness is somehow not okay in the way heterosexuality is.

not really feeling the sex worker being portrayed as the bad guy in this relationship's development....and commenters following along happily in blaming beom when he's drunk, younger, and transparently kind of an emotional mess........

it isn't their both fault! but the punch was not necessary, it fault over the top.
i mean my problem is exactly that the response feels way too dramatic lmao; i liked the idea of them both fucking up in kind of minor ways in the development, but atm the writing's leaning more heavily towards weird contrivances to make beom reject contact in ways even the author seems to recognize don't make a whole lotta sense (insert that one panel where beom is like "wait why did i say all that???") instead of being a lil more subtle about it which is kind of a shame....
