Without reading any spoilers, I believe that the real Raeliana jumped into Beatrice because she was jealous of her and our FC (that should have jumped into Beatrice in the first place) jumped into Raeliana instead. So in order to fix this one of them must die or switch bodies?
He hired a person to hit him a little in order to see if Keith cares about him or not. The deal was not to hit him that much though and it appears that Keith put work first and stayed in the meeting. So for the whole chapter he is thinking that he lost and that Keith doesn't care until Keith appears and seemed so very concern and tired. In all that crazyness they also got his saliva so they have his DNA now which means that Keith will soon know that it was him that marked him.

Well he did come in the middle of the meeting to check on him and then he found out he was okay for the most part and then went back to work
