It's the first time ever that your stereotypical *cute side-kick animal* doesn't annoy me like mad in a manga. I actually found myself laughing at those stupid bone jokes and going *aww* at him. XD
Thing is, I don't consider Sylvie as "side-kick animal". Like yes, I guess you could argue that she technically is. But I don't see her as such given how much importance she is given throughout the plot. I love her character obviously, but she feels too much like an individual character to me so I can't consider her as a mere side-kick.
But if you've only read the manhwa, Sylvie isn't shown as much as the full-on character that she actually is yet. So considering the manhwa stand-point: I shall reiterate: Pokyuu is thus the second one.
Hope that makes sense!
They were so endearing. Still don't like how the marriage got rushed and everything, but it's a happy ending so I won't complain too much. This was quite the light-hearted and funny ride. Satisfied. One thing tho: if you want the authors to show you the scenes why are you reading this in the first place? It ain't smut. Of course you won't see anything explicit. If explicit content is what you want, then go to the smut tag... This should've been clear to everyone already. I don't get people who are disappointed.
1. It doesn't even look like the one she likes is Lee Geum but it seems to be the Admin dude. And her interactions with Lee Geum are merely her clumsy way of trying to get the former's attention.
2. Even if she WAS interested in Lee Geum, which it doesn't even seem to be the case as I just said, she doesn't know that him and Sang Hwa are together in the first place. You can't get mad and curse at someone just for showing interest in a person that they have no clue is taken. If she knew and kept on making moves on him, then sure, be my guest, go all out. But right now, the way that so many people are attacking her is absolutely uncalled-for. This is so childish. Chill.
Lightsabers were one thing. That's a whole motherfuckin' lightpage ya'll. There's a freaking speech bubble floating about pointlessly directed at this glowing emptiness that is supposedly Sang Hwa's location as he speaks but the dude's nowhere to be seen. This was supposed to be cute. And I just ended up laughing my ass off at how ridiculous the censorship was. Just draw them in a way where censorship won't be needed but the readers can guess what's happening like they did in Sweet Man or Horimiya for fuck's sake. I can't even. XD
in horimiya, or atleast the web manga, their sex life is very active. hori's parents are aware of it and they even have sex in her room while her parents are in the house. so yeah, its pretty natural. i forgot which chapter it was but i remember it was raining, hori bit miyamura on the nape(?), and miyamura said something to souta like "you can have your sister, but can i have kiyoko?"
This is actually one of my favorite chapters in Horimiya. There's something I find bewitching about it all. Be it every character interactions in it, Hori & Miyamura being so absorbed into each other, the way that the author displayed their emotions so well, Shouta & Miyamura's talk later on, ... I really like it.
Hey there, I've been reading this up to Ch.26 (for pointers: it's when Esau's mother appears to talk to Hosoo) but had to stop for now and here's why:
I've been worried like mad every since we've been told about Woojoo's stepfather being a predator was brought up. Needless to say that I was relieved like crazy when it was explained that Woojoo had never had to suffer any further (physical) sexual abuse after he'd placed a lock on his door and moved out. But I keep on getting worried since they've said that the stepdad and the mother are looking for Esau. Furthermore, that this pig of a stepdad had been in a sex trafficking scandal and holds a club of sorts, which seems to involve some type of prostitution, from my understanding.
So I'd really like to know if anything's going to happen to Esau? I'm really worried and don't want to get triggered, so I dislike seeing such content being in what I'm reading prior to it. I can't seem to find any info on this and there's no sexual assault tag in the description so I was already caught off-guard and started hyperventilating when Woojoo's past was brought up. Like I said, there were no tags indicating that a character had gone through sexual abuse of sorts, and I can handle such topics, but only if I know before-hand that they'll even be addressed, but Woojoo's situation was nowhere to be warned about. So needless to say that heading into this thinking it was safe, it left a more than bitter after-taste.
As such, could someone please let me know if anything serious is going to happen to Esau or his brother, like one of them being abused again or something. I'd really be grateful if you could let me know in case there'll be such an event. Many thanks in advance.
She's completely mental. Call the cops and get her locked up in a clinic wtf.
