Ok so I’ve read and watched a lot of novels and dramas and I understand some gods go through a human trial. They also lose there memories as a god, so River having no memories of his god form would make sense. Is it possible that the guy at the end is River returning to his god form.

Also the blue mark on his forehead in the last panels is the Chinese character is translated to River (looks like this character 川）
Hopefully that is true, if River only returning to his god form, and doesn't lose the memory when he is a human T_T
Also, they seem to have the same eye colour
