Basically it's a trial where Vlad is asked questions, there are a certain number of crystal balls and when they have a certain reaction it means the accused is lying, the guy is good at asking questions that make you look bad making the spheres react leaving Vlad in a bad position, eventually he proceeds to question if it's true that he was struck by lightning and if there is some presence inside him, the purpose is to make it seem that Vlad is possessed by something evil, if he lies the spheres will react so when he is about to tell the truth Andreas appears and proceeds to be some sort of lawyer vouching for Vlad and saving the day, but the old man decides to show his last card and decides to propose that Vlad be exposed to a sacred object, a mirror that reflects a person's inner world, if they find something evil obviously it will be reflected in the mirror, so the voice inside Vlad decides that he is going to dive deeper into his world so he won't see himself reflected in the mirror but this would make it so he can no longer talk to Vlad until he reaches a higher level with respect to his world, Vlad says goodbye (for now, as he hopes to get strong enough to talk to him again), the voice disappears and in the mirror a light so pure and golden is reflected that it makes it look like something sacred to the point that it is so much that it ends up breaking the mirror and thus screwing up the old man's plans, since he can't accuse him of being evil, Vlad ends up seeing himself as some kind of divided envoy (due to the light in the mirror and his story of being struck by lightning and going from the worst filth to what he is today with everything he has done and achieved) and if that weren't enough, breaking a sacred object prized by the church hahaha
