Um I have a question.

If Hajime and Kudou were able to avoid their so called fate of being born for each other/born to love each other, why weren't Aoi and Jirou be able to avoid it? Is it because they actually loved each other?

If you remember Jirou wasn’t exactly thrilled to have Aoi as his pair because he wanted to pick his own partner. But then he fell in love with Aoi, because Aoi was a hardworking person, and he inspired Jirou to also do his best. In their case, the whole fated pair thing worked in their favor but it wasn’t as if they just went along with it from the get go.

May I also join this discussion??

When did Aoi fall in love with Jirou then? The summary says that he had an unrequited love with Jirou for a while now and when I read this, I wasn't too sure... and would you say that Aoi was in love with Miyauchi before Jirou since in the extra he said that he was saved by two princes who are obviously Jirou and Miyauchi

Well, Aoi certainly loves Miyauchi and he considers him his prince, because he Miyauchi protected him and made him happy. So I don’t know if baby Aoi was in love with Miyauchi, but he was definitely his important person and his ideal, because he told Jirou he wanted someone like Miyauchi as his pair.

Since Aoi has been in love with Jirou for 5 years and they’re 18, my guess is that Aoi fell in love with him at the party because he looked pretty upset when Jirou pushed him away, but I’m not sure. At least for me it was easier to tell when and why Jirou fell in love with Aoi but not the other way around. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

XD Hmmm in that case, despite not being his ideal, Aoi still fell in love with the imperfect Jirou. I'm glad that they were still able to fall in love and married each other~ Since they have such cute twins (≧∀≦)

I love Aoi and Jirou and I’m so happy they got their happily ever after with their adorable twins. Both of them are so loving towards Miyauchi and Kudou, it just warms my heart.

I agree with you completely! I love Aoi and Jirou too! I simply love how they worry about Miyauchi and Kudou. And.. I have to admit. I seriously love Jirou for being a wingman, trying to help Kudou woo Miyauchi. Aoi praying for Miyauchi's happiness. (づ￣ ³￣)づAlthough it feels like not a lot of people like Aoi and Jirou... It makes me sad sometimes. So I'm happy to see you also love them! <3

(≧∀≦) Can't wait to see Miyauchi get his man and grab his happiness. Oh and... What are your favorite scenes so far? For me.. Well any kind of interaction between our two couples. XD And.. Kudou being unsure of whether to be jelly of Miyauchi for seeing a rare smile on Jirou or be jelly of Jirou for approaching Miyauchi so easily.

PS I also would like to see more interaction between them half-brothers. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I love them so much and it makes me sad to see that some people don’t like them. Jirou is the best wingman and he can’t stand to see Kudou suffer, and Aoi loves Miyauchi so much and wants him to be happier than himself. Though I get why they’d develop a stronger connection to Miyauchi and Kudou, apart from the fact that they’re great, their story is longer so people get a chance to connect to them more. Plus, Kudou is the best seme ever, I get why Hijiri is obsessed with him. Wife him already Miyauchi ‘cuz that’s a good man. But still I’d hope more people would show their love for our adorable masters.

So far my favorite scenes are any time Kudou hugs Miyauchi, when Kudou gets overly emotional while lurking in the background it’s always hilarious, and interactions between Aoi and Kudou, and Jirou and Miyauchi.

I've seen them as well but i think they were aoi and jirou.

Yeah they were Aoi and Jirou, the kid was measuring himself when he said 'Aoi is small'. Besides, it would be illogical for the author to spoil the ending's surprise MONTHS before the actual revelation (that comic sketch on Twitter was posted like when Answer was at 2nd chapter). I'm happy for both Miyauchi and Kudou with the conclusion in this final 6th chapter but that doesn't mean the comic sketch on Twitter is canon. The author's comment about the sketch was something along the line of "midnight drawing when suddenly this idea came to me" and she sketched the AU where Miyauchi and Kudou are parents to Aoi and Jirou because of how attentive they are to their masters. Still rejoice~! because Miyauchi and Kudou can finally have a real family of their own now with Miyauchi being ******** xD
