I really find this story stupid and I really don’t like the female lead. Stopped on ch. 14.
1) The FL is living life on easy mode. The world quite literally gave her everything on a silver platter for what? There’s nothing about the FL that makes me think she’s particularly precious or anything. She’s like every other person.
2) Why does it have to be isekai? She conveniently throw away her past life besides her knowledge of the book. Doesn’t she think it’s fucking weird that her sister wrote a novel for her to read and told her to memorize it? That’s something that would be plaguing my mind for eternity!!! If that detail was much more prevalent in the story, it would make the reveal that she was the FL all this time much more impactful and deepen the mystery. But it just casually thrown out there. Like wtf. Why does the audience care more about it than the fucking main character. Bad writing.
3) “omg the people are so selfish for me not doing my saint job” wtf you’re a selfish bitch too. You only did your whole plan for the church to be a humanitarian center because you literally don’t want to do work. The people are right on the mark in calling the FL out. Let’s be honest, the FL and her family would have never done it if she wasn’t the saint. Even the mom admitted it. So I want the FL and her supporters to shut the fuck up about the people being selfish cause they’re literally doing what the people are calling them out on.
4) Actually, I hate the whole church and saint arc. Why is the church so fucking useless before our “super duper amazing and talented and smart” FL told them what to do. What the fuck was the point of the church? The foundation of any church is the humanitarian effort. They should have established all that shit before the FL said it. It’s simply not sustainable for an organized faction to just be a place of worship. Citizens wouldn’t have backed it and the government would see no use for it. If it was just for the saint, the government could have just handled it since the church isn’t worth anything. Secondly I just don’t like how the FL is just given the knowledge of how to use her powers. She’s already living an easy life, might as well make it easier right?
5) I hate how she thinks that she solved her brother’s mental illness. The whole thing around her brother is fucked. She didn’t do anything besides tell him not to be a shit head. She didn’t fix anything. “I paid attention to my little brother” as if attention was the only root of the problem. Clearly he didn’t move past it. Now he’s just obsessed with her.

Nothing about this story feels rewarding and the FL barely uses her brain cells that we all know that she has but she’s too fucking lazy to do anything about it. This story is just bad and wastes any potential intrigue like a fizzled out firework.

(Stopped on Ch. 16) Too similar to Beauty and The Beasts. I know some people will try to say that it’s not but it practically have the same plot points.

Also, the world building lowkey really annoys me. Is this tribe newly established or something? How does Ida know all the shit an average tribe should already know how to do before establishing a permanent residency? How have they been surviving before our oh so brilliant MC transmigrated? I would be willing to believe if the tribe was nomadic but they aren’t. At this stage of civilization, they should already be farming and domesticating wild beasts. They wouldn’t be able to sustain a population on hunting and gathering logic. Which makes sense why winter is so hard; if they were nomadic, they would just travel to their winter location. The world building is so fucking dumb. Anyone with a standard history or anthropology course in school knows this shit. “People were hunter and gathers but once they learn how to farm and domestic, they became stationary.” Am I complaining about a braindead story? Yes. But I want to get this off my chest. It’s a dumb story that rivals Beauty and the Beasts.

Why is the female lead’s plan so fucking dumb? Like I literally don’t get it and the sheer gaps the author tries to link together to justify anything is absolutely baffling. There’s nearly no logic for anything even though things “magically” work out. Like for one. The beginning makes sense. Cult ruins her family and the female lead ACKNOWLEDGES that the cult made the little brother an idiot and killed the dad. Sure. Yet why does she want the little brother to still be trash when he becomes the emperor? Because trash is better than being a loser? What? Why not make him a confident, good ruler? Not like that fact would stop her from running away. It’s reasonable for her to be angry at her dad and frustrated at her little brother but her logic isn’t there. It not like the dad beats her and tells the staff to treat her like shit. He’s just cold to her. People like her for the most part. Why doesn’t her plan just be as simple as “stop the cult and raise my brother to not be a shit head.” Why is it “I’ll out trash my little brother and just make sure he isn’t a loser when he becomes king.” WHY??? WHY?!?!?!?! That makes zero sense unless she really hates people. But there’s nothing to suggest she hates the lower class or common people. Just her dad and fiancé. I really don’t get why she’s astonishing cruel to watch the world burn when her first world problems are tiny. Hell we know she doesn’t “hate” her brother but frustrated by him. So why can’t she just want him to be a better person? I really don’t understand her “burn every bridge” logic when nothing justifies it.

It’s really sad because the foundation is interesting enough and the art is really pretty. But the plan makes zero sense. If she change it to “I’ll tell it as it is and stop coddling my brother” that makes a billion times more sense that whatever edgy line the author thought was cool for a whole ass series.
