MC hasn’t fallen in love with him. Yeah she finds him cute, but this whole time she thought, like MANY others, that he was with Jia. She was paranoid about the magician and the prophecy, and the duke himself is terrible with social interactions and cues.
She still can’t relax because the prophecy literally haunts her, it doesn’t help that the environment that she’s in stresses her out.
Jia isn’t interested in either male leads, she seems more like a big sister. Also this isn’t a novel, it’s just a reincarnation and MC thinks this world is like those stories/otome games. She doesn’t know the “plot”.
i really was excited!! just didn’t think cale was going to be muscular considering most of the art i’ve seen of him and how he’s described in the novel as weak, lazy and how he can’t really hold/train with a sword

Yes! He’s supposed to have short hair in the beginning but then grow it out after the time-skip, but yeah I honestly thought he would be soft and frail considering everyone else calls him weak (⌒▽⌒)

From what I can remember from the novel, Cale was described to have muscles and a great body in the first chaps cuz he was particular about his body and sht. He losses muscle mass in the later chaps cuz he keeps using his ancient powers, which sometimes leaves him in a coma for weeks. And also from the additional stress lmao
