Also anyone kinda confused about what Jennette is?? like so she's a child of black magic... what does that mean??? and why did claude's headache get better potentially cause of her??

Its what made Claude like her in the book timeline. I think there was a curse that was shared by both Athy and Claude. Jeanette being a child borne from black magic helped Claude ease that pain, but when og Athy died Claude suffered the full brunt of the curse. If you remember the scene with dark-haired older brother telling little J not to bother with an in pain Claude, that's part of the book timeline sometime after Athy died.
I'm still iffy on dark-haired older brother's origins... he's an ancestor or smth...
