Not all women are saints and I would hate to be held at that standard, even though I'm a boring 'good' person. The double standard of people hating Rose but not Kilian who is a villain on the low (who murders his cousins in the alt-world) isn't actually funny.

My thoughts exactly! And, her community, experiences and societal expectations are no different from what her younger sisters lived in... both times! Rose simply has a bad attitude... one of entitlement, narcissism, etc., even if it means belittling Daisy & crushing her self-esteem to ensure she’s the only Philbern sister that is worthy of being looked at/sought after! Rose turned her back on both younger sisters in the previous life (abandoning them while she lived a good, high-class life), and now that Daisy has come up before she did. Now Rose has resorted to scheming against and slandering her sister’s name... as if the duke is the only man in town, but since he is the most desired bachelor, then naturally she should have been chosen instead of Daisy, whom she mocked & maligned for years, expecting her to have low self-esteem! Rose is a jealous skank and is absolutely abysmal as an older sister! Nobody should feel the least bit of sorrow for her! (︶︿︶) IMO

this is just a comment, it's not flack, just to be clear.. nor was it flack when I commented on the OP's post. Just a disagreement. I am not clear why you bring up that Killian is not complained about but Rose is.. Perhaps there are other comments I missed.. But in this thread, I think most people are just responding to the OP and why they don't have sympathy for Rose.
