So you're the fucker that caused the rift in their relationship. This son of a b*tch just can't mind his own business he has to interfere in someone else's love confession. ಠಗಠ
I had to go back and re-read. SO, with the NEW context, the situation seems to be: when the MC was choosing to corrupt his vassals / make them stronger, he was also able to make a love confession. Boy was over there playing this empire sim like an otome game, and he chose to say "I love you" to the grand duke. But the guide interfered, and what the grand duke heard MC say was "I hate you." So the grand duke was GUTTED and told the MC that he despised him too. And then our MC was so upset about being rejected by his 2D husband, he quit the game.
I'm happy with how the arc ended but I really did not expect for it to be the end of the story. It felt a bit anticlimactic? I'm not really sure how to describe it but I wished there was more, like give us a glimpse of his future please. We also want to know what his future would look like now. (╥﹏╥)
I can't help but feel sad about the whole situation. Somehow, I kept remembering Sulli and Hara's crying faces. As well as the late actor Lee Sun Kyun's incident. I'm calling out the media, social media, and the netizens guilty of the crime Homicide by Oblique Intent.
How can these people and organization heads live their lives everyday without remorse as if they did not have a part in pushing those poor souls to the edge.
These times, it's hard to believe in the values of humanity. ( ̄へ ̄)
Damn, why did I have to read it in one go? Now I have to wait in agony for the next chapter ༼;´༎ ༎༽
