I really, really like the story and concept, and the art. But the grammar is pretty annoying. Not quite bad enough that it ruins the whole thing but not good enough to just pass off, either.
Edit: it gets better. Its mostly the beginning.
What the actual alabama hell- literally just a girl taking advantage of her mentally disadvantaged nephew. I tried to read it seriously, but I just couldn't.
A comedy about a boy suffering from depression. It seems very morbid at first, but overall the character gets better with support from his friends.
Personal favorite was the chapter where the main characters saw a classmate of theirs holding hands with another girl.
The other girl actually happened to be her boyfriend who liked to cross dress, but she covered that up by saying she dressed him up in her old clothes. The way it set it up one way and then completely shifted the narrative, all the while still keeping the same message but making it even more meaningful is amazing. it was really wholesome seeing all the little meaningful things the characters do in their daily lives. Super cute!
