Before I read more, does this get any better? So far the female lead is really unlikeable. Does she stay that way? And her and the slave have zero compelling chemistry. Does this change? I'd like to know before I continue reading. The artwork is really nice, so I really want to like the story as well.
Okay, normally I have a really good grasp on things, but this story has me a bit confused. Why does the chairwoman think she's a dokkaebi? Why does she suddenly go off on the main character like "you better not be here to deceive me"? Bitch, you asked him for help! Also, did that dude cut his hand himself? Why did the other guy scream at MC and threaten to call security just because he walked over by the peach tree? Like, the characters reactions don't make a lot of sense to me right now.
I didn't have high hopes for this, but it’s not bad so far. Though, parts of it seem like the pages are out of order. And some of the characters look too similar. That being said, it's genuinely made me laugh a few times.
I didn't know Wuthering Heights was a book. I just thought it was a really good song from the 70s. What an unlikely place to find that out.
Damn, I really like this so far, but I think I'd rather wait for an official translation. Does anyone know if we'll be getting one at some point?
Does anyone know when the official translation for season 2 will be out? I think I'm just gonna wait until then to read it. Also, what website is this from?
Oh man, imagine how mad the guild boss is gonna be when he learns the "curse" is just them being all lusty. I'd be pissed if I thought I was putting some kind of deadly curse on someone, only to find out the only effect it had was getting him laid
Lol I love how his dead sister came back just to fuck with him. If I was in that situation, I don't think I'd be able to have sex for a long time, knowing my dead family members might be watching XD
"The slime reached sexual nirvana and died" - hahahaha omg... why did that make me laugh so much?
Does anyone else think it's weird that they're using eastern terms like "empress dowager" even though this is more of a European setting and they're also using terms like "dame" and "duke"? That kinda threw me a bit when I first started reading this. Then again, I don't really know anything about Korean history, so I don't know whether or not they eventually had European influence.
The fuck?? I was so happy I had one more chapter left! Why is it the same as the last chapter Anyways, despite my issues with the heavy exposition dumps in the beginning and the empress's sometimes inconsistent character, I really like this so far.
It kinda doesn't make any sense that the empress wants to destroy the person Rishak likes. If she does that than it's all the more likely that he'll end up in that arranged marriage. Shouldn't she at least find out who it is first? For all she knows it's a commoner, and that would only help her cause.
The heavy exposition dumps in this are just awful... I really hope it gets better. I'm kinda shocked this is the same author who wrote A Second Chance for the Outcast Prince. The dialogue and storytelling in that one are much more natural.
Since this isn't great so far I'll read it on here. If it gets better I'll read it on tappytoon.
Before I start reading this, is there smut? On Manta it's 17+, but it doesn't say [full version] next to the title.
I thought this was a finished story. Man, just when it's finally getting good, I have to wait for a second season =( Before this last chapter most of this story has been pretty average.
