The constant justification for rape in popular publications (such as bj alex, jinx, that one yuri, painter, sadistic beauty, etc.), acting like people don’t have a right to complain that there is an ABUNDANCE of rape (especially the popular and beautifully illustrated manwhas/mangas) on the manwhas. they’re expected to just go search the niddy griddy of mangago for a consensual comic with decent art or a decent plot.

It’s been this way for years and i personally feel like people just like to see the uke just fucking suffer… like it’s sick because let’s face it there are ppl on here under 18 years old and will get the assumption that it’s fine. although people may use the “fiction” approach a lot of times these manwhas literally romanticize it so bad that people become attached to the character. take sangwoo for example (even though technically it’s not a BL story, although advertised as one). I just wish people can just read their rapey shit without tryna to make seem like it’s fine. It’s not; it’s a kink and you don’t need to be spreading it like a white night.

Oh, I honestly think that I probably am just able to somehow avoid all that stuff. I also try my hardest not to get involved in the jinx stuff because I for one hate drama and personally don’t like jinx at all and think that the story is gross. And most of the people I talk to on here are all so friendly, and I don’t try to start stuff so I think that’s why I haven’t seen any one the toxic stuff on mangago? I also try to only read stuff without rape unless it’s a phycological story or something like that where there is no romantic plot, and I don’t try to justify the story. Rape is rape. I also completely agree with everything you just said.

Omg this, I genuinely will never understand how anyone can just throw, “it’s fiction,” at the most extreme and disgusting rape scenes. The only reason why I’m so dead set on dragging those people down is because I was one of them before the comment section… only because for some reason the VERY popular BLs contain SA and is hyped up.
