Cheating is disgusting for both genders let me get that clear! But these two have been married only by law and law only. They never were a real couple. Not having much conversation with each other, Serena even hated him for multiple reasons and they never even did they you know what. Like strangers but married. So this girl who was absolutely lonely relied on that guy Frederick who he also betrayed her. So that’s why like the other comment said I kinda give this a pass (yes even if the cheater was a guy I would have had the same opinion). Now tho they have become obviously way closer than before and we start seeing their relationship develop to a romantic one. Which is why I don’t get why people were hating on Serena that much. Like people she was basically forced to marry him and hated him… Anyways I’m rooting for them!!

It's only a real problem if the MC is actually romantically engaging with her husband but decided to cheat with her guard for reasons. But seems like the end game couple is her husband after all? once the misundestanding is resolved? :D

From the looks of it they are the end game but I can’t say if this manhwa has a happy or a tragic end… I think it’s worth reading cause we can actually see their character development which is very interesting especially Serenas :)

Ya which is why I'm kinda unsure why there's comments calling it cheating when MC is not even romantically committed to her husband and its a contractual marriage. Hopefully the husband is the endgame and there's happy end. I prefer to wait for more chapters to come out before I read!

It wasn't enough reason to justify cheating from the person you're married to who has been protecting your name behind your back. Serena never tried seeking the truth nor working on her shortcomings until the later time and just like her husband said, she was busy attending parties and busying herself in her room with her lover meanwhile the husband she loathes so much has been working hard to save her lifeline of a hotel and her dignity as a woman. Serena might be strong but she's never admirable and whatever the circumstances are, her seeking comfort in another man's bed is never justifiable when her husband who's also in the same boat never once laid in another woman's bed nor looked their way. This is like saying "I would also seek comfort with another man without even trying to know who my husband really is and what his intentions are and just relying on my clouded judgement". It's absurd.

Omg thanks for providing this perspective. It really paints her in a different light. It's very hard for me to like a character that doesnt see the help she's been provided. I was under the impression that both husband and wife doesnt like each other thus its somewhat understandable for her to find comfort somewhere but it's really shitty that she didn't see what her husband have done for her.

The wife doesn't like the husband, the husband doesn't cater to his wife nor care about her feelings. The wife goes out parading her lover to parties to somewhat bring shame to her husband's name, meanwhile the husband does not let people talk bad behind his wife's back nor let people insult his wife in front of him. A cheating wife and a husband who condone it. They're getting along quite fine recently and the wife has cut off her sexual relationship with her lover but still, as a reader, the feeling of the husband now thirsty over his wife that he's let someone eat to his heart's content for two years still lingers and it's not a good feeling lol. I don't recommend this tho tbh and if I were to reco, it would be better to read Black Winter with much better art and a milestone better plot (it made me cry lol) written/drawn by the same author.

This is our POV and for Serena who I said before was an arrogant selfish lady who was forced into this marriage by her grandmother thinking that the husband was taking advantage of her fortune. It’s still a loveless non consent marriage for Serana who was a broken child who sought love from unfortunately, unmoral conditions. She never tried to even get to know him and he also didn’t bother. I mean this marriage was beneficial for both sides but still loveless. Her cheating didn’t hurt him cause he clearly didn’t care what it did tho was ruin her reputation as a woman and wife. You can’t be hurt by a cheater if you don’t even love them. And I bet he also had his reasons for agreeing into this marriage. Let’s not forget that he is also older and more mature than her. He learned to cope with his feelings with past relationship etc. But she is still learning and I find this a wonderful character development.

She could have been a moral person, but she didn't uphold the dignity of her marriage and even her ownself.

After reading the other comments I do agree that it does leave a bad taste in my mouth to learn that she decided to be in a sexual relationship with the guard she hired when she dont have to be. I think it would be easier to accept if her husband have a sexual relationship with someone too but this was not the case. I think it also worked against her to be in a relationship with someone else especially when she is married even if its only a marriage of convenience.

I think they prob got together when he got older or maybe he can transform or that they don't have a sexual relationship in the past. I'm not sure as I have not checked if there's any update to the raws.

I felt like the whole experience of reading is ruined with these kind of censorship. I could still somewhat get it if its like a small orb of light or spark or even a freaking small butterfly that actually matches the art style but not this freaking strawberry that covered 90% of the freaking panel like bruh this is so bad, the strawberry doesn't even match the artwork

It did honestly. It was unnecessary, I don't mind some censorship but when it basically takes over the screen & does it with something like kissing? That's when it's getting a little ridiculous, I love the manwha, I think it's good & I enjoy reading it. But that is one stupid censorship & I do agree that the strawberry does not go with the theme & artwork.

That's why I wish there was an uncensored version. The way the strawberry is pasted there makes it seem like someone that is not the artist just pasting it onto the kiss scenes. It doesn't help that there's alot of kiss scene in this manhwa so I constantly see that copy paste strawberry. If the censorship is by the publisher I wish it was published somewhere else I've seen other manhwa that doesnt have censorship like these for freaking kiss scenes. Its such a joke

There is no uncensored version Nevis this is drawn by a Chinese artist and due to censorship laws, they can not add these scenes in without cover or they could get arrested or find. Not 100% sure so don't quote me, but I think that this law plus this story being lgbt also has to have heavy censorship cause it's illegal. If I am wrong it's only censorship laws then I apologize, but with the news regarding China and lgbtq is crazy rn

Yeah, there is a novel for it. And I am pretty sure it is about the story because it has all the same characters and plot hahah anyways I am unsure if it finished, but it isn’t until chapter 68 when he realizes.

- so basically they were doing it and he realizes it was him from back then.
- I do want to add there is more to this aka things going on with Jay and and Yoohan ( I’ll try to sum up )
- so there’s this thing called “the dreaming plan/project” and basically the other company wants to take it from Jay, but he hasn’t given it to them. Jay asked Yoohan; if Yoohan told Jay to give it to the other company that he will. *but he did say if it was for anyone else, he wouldn’t only for Yoohan*

- Anyways, Yoohan is slowly getting revenge on Myungshin [ to be honest, I was kind of confused if Yoohan did, or did not complete his revenge, because it seemed very simple. All he did which was to make Myungshin insecure/jealous, and spend money on a car ]

- Yoohan started to realizing he is falling for Jay since his heart starts fluttering when he’s around and he like gets anxious and always plays around with his phone waiting for Jay to text him.

- also this cute moments where Jay sleeps on Yoohans lap. And other people at Alice’s. Labyrinth we’re surprise because Jay usually doesn’t sleep that much.

- By the way, they also do it in a car ( I’m pretty sure it wasn’t full on s*x btw ) but this was, *I think* before they officially did the deed.

- I’ll also like to mention that once they did do the deed in chapter 68 I’m pretty sure Jay was being rough so Yoohan could remember and after I’m pretty sure Yoohan cried ( keep in mind he hasn’t cried since the last time he had s*x with Jay ) after Yoohan cries Jay then does the deed more gently (he only did it, roughly so he could remember I believe) and then after they finish is when says Yoohan says "….. It was you?" The guy from 5 years ago.”

- There’s more to it but I feel like these are the important things. I am really not sure if the novel ended at chapter 68; after they do the deed and Yoohan remembers but I really hope not because I kind of want more. I’ll also like to mention that in chapter 68 it isn’t as descriptive as the other times when they do things with one another. (by the way, I might have confused a couple things. I hope not, but I barely woke up since I stayed up read the novel) anyways hope you enjoyed, and I highly recommend you read the novel! If you don't want to read the whole novel, you could start in chapter 45 that’s where the manhwa is I believe.


- I forgot to mention but some of you guys me know if y’all saw the spoilers for chapter 66 but Yoohan has to do an acting scene where his character commits suicide, and he asked people what would they do before they jumped and a lot of people said things like sing or call a loved one. Anyways, once it’s finally his turn to act out the scene people thought it was very realistic. Hansoo (coworker) asked Yoohan if he knew that he was smiling before he jumped. ( I wanted to mention the scene because I feel like it’s important also thought it was sad reading the scene. )
