I can't help but sympathize with Baek Yeonhwa. Surely what she did to her sister and Dahye was a serious crime.
But she tried to change herself twice throughout the series.
Firstly, when she started dating Ayeon she was starting to become somewhat sane and normal. But that went wrong because of Dahye's intervention. But let's get real she needed to go to Juvenile Prison at least once for her previous crimes so I'll let it slide.
Secondly, it's when she gets released from the Juvenile Prison and starts dating Yeon Yeong. She completely changes and becomes normal. But once again Dahye barges into her life to ruin it.
Anyway Dahye is far more twisted and brutal than Yeonhwa. Wasn't reporting Yeonhwa to the police and getting her arrested enough of a "revenge". Now she comes back to ruin Yeonhwa's normal life and relationship too. If she's had that much of a traumatic experience and can't even sleep properly at night, she should go see a therapist instead of taking out her frustration on Soobin and making her dress up like Yeonhwa.
Not that I'm complaining lol. Twisted characters makes this manhwa so damn good after all.
Some characters from both season that I can't stand are:
1.Dahye's sister. She's one selfish b*tch. She justifies her actions by saying it's for her sister. But no one's being benefitted from any of it. Instead of doing whatever Dahye tells her to do. She should have tried to prevent Dahye from going down the wrong path. She's half responsible for how Dahye is right now.
2. Dahye's underlings. Specially the short one pissed me off so much. Forgot her name.
3. Dahye of course. Manipulative, twisted and selfish to the very core. I still ship her with Yeonhwa tho lol.
With how twisted both Yeonhwa and Dahye are. It's like they were made for each other.
Anyway all I want is a happy ending (￣∇￣")
I sympathize with Dahye and I totally understand why she cannot get over it. She probably thought sending Yeonhwa to Juvenile would be enough for her revenge but it wasn't. She couldn't get rest and was allowing Yeonhwa to live rent free inside her head for 8 years so she wanted to take her power back and have Yeonhwa take responsibility for the trauma she caused her.
What Dahye did not realize is it does not matter that it is Yeonhwa's fault because it is still Dahye's responsibility to take that pain, hatred, and trauma and figure out how to build a happy life for herself. Blaming Yeonhwa, and hating her gave Yeonhwa power over her I could understand why seeing Yeonhwa happy with Yeonyoung after everything she did to her could set her off though.
It is one thing to try to build a happy life for yourself and it is another to accept that the person that made you miserable is going on with their life and living happier than you are.
Sure I get your point too. But I still think Dahye herself is responsible for her miserable situation. I don't thik Yeonhwa would have done what she did back then if she didn't see Ayeon getting bullied. Dahye's hatred and obsession with Yeonhwa definitely isn't normal.
