I didn't get a single thing all that went to my head was blood and company....maybe-
The president was adopted and was older than maki so he inherited the company and other people were gossiping how he was adopted-? But still managed to land a job and be able to inherit a company because of maki's father the president's stepfather. He wasn't given any choice but to do as he wast told and work while others gossip and he wanted to keep maki, his stepbrother in the company who he doesn't know what's thinking and is jealous because maki is completely different from him(the president)..

Something like he wanted somewhat a revenge or he wanted maki to feel whatever he felt jealous of him way back then. IM NOT MAKING ANY SENSE AT ALL oh well lets just wait for the next update hehe
