People, chile. I'm pretty sure when he fell in the river he regained his memories. You can see that in the panel that something "clicked" within him. That's why he reached out for him and they embraced each other. I mean come on people, them suddenly drowning in the river out of nowhere is just plain stupid. Thank god Judas' parents are actually still alive. I've been sad about them for a long time now because it always felt it implied they already died a long time ago lol. So glad I was wrong.
