So I'm confused with Caidel's logic. She already told her side of the story.

She definitely did not start that village fire directly, as the entire village was already dead before the fire. That being said, while she did cause the death of the entire village but not intentionally. In fact, it was the village that tried to kill her in a fire first, chaining her and then setting her house on fire that lead up to her being forced to use the spell that ended up taking their lives. The one truly at fault was his father for leading the village to try and kill her. And while I understand that child-Caidel wouldn't understand that, the adult-Caidel should have understood this much from an intellectual point, even if he has conflicting feels of love, guilt, anger, etc. When he was asked if Eleanor was the arsonist, replying "no" was technically not a lie as she wasn't. It's not like his adoptive mother did not know Eleanor is a witch and if he had any ounce of trust and/or confidence in his mother's reasoning ability, he could have told her the entire story and the countess(?) would have come to the conclusion Eleanor did not deliberately/intentionally take all those lives.

While giving off the same "I'm a villainess and will act like one" enthusiasm, I find this much more touching and well done. Bakarina (nickname for "I Reincarnated into an Otome Game as a Villainess With Only Destruction Flags") was fun up until the ending of the first arch but the continuation felt stupid and repetitive, and it was too much reverse-harem-esque with no closure. In any case, I find that Fiancee Observation Log (Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku) managed to capture the stubborn ridiculousness of the MC and her general silliness but it has been hinted throughout and finally revealed in CH25 (MINOR SPOILER) that she had a very good reason for being adamant about being a villain. She's silly but not outright stupid and in her own way, more lovable without being too cliché in a way that reminds me of those old 80's-90's baka/hyperactive MC stereotype.

Yeah, unless you suffer some kind of psychological condition that you never get over (more often, common, and the norm than people think), one would get stable emotionally and mentally around 27-32, especially when their life is more or less stable (survival needs met with some basic/simple level enjoyment in life), sometimes earlier if they manage to get their life together and be independent earlier. It's nice to read about someone closer to my age (without the sometimes-cumbersome "I'm in the body of a teen/child") acting like someone my age. I'm not saying we're the same as the only thing we share is a love for reading, and I'm definitely the type who would travel to see this new fantasy world instead of running a book café, but I recognize a fellow functioning adult... even the way she forms attachment to Ill is not over the top.

You're all too late, cuties! Little Rias has already claimed sizeable spot in Little Lippe's heart a whole lifetime ago.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Just guessing based on their previous interactions. It's kind of hinted subtly that they met and interacted enough in their previous life. Let me see... on Lippe's end in Ch77 where she found out the handkerchief was Rias' she squeezed it, an action that shows there is some emotion/relation there (whether positive or negative, we don't know since it's only 1 panel)...Ch79 she had a flashback when seeing him with a bloody hand and her panicked face (so something must have happened between them, though we don't know if the hand is his or someone else's.. but I'm inclined to believe he died and she found him and was shocked)...Ch81 she had a flashback (it seemed like he was teasing/flirting with her and she got angry) due to Rias teasing her using the exact same words from the past, and she also told him "I'll wipe away your tears for you" which hints that they have at the very least a close friendship in the past or she would not have felt the need to say that. On Rias' end, in the following chapter he mentions wanting to comfort her through leaving his handkerchief, but we know how precious that item is to him (per Hildert). He also seems to get sensitive/annoyed in general when people get too close to her and seems very protective of her/interested in her when they're technically not familiar with each other. Also, overall he has the ML aura LMAO!

I am really hoping they all (minus the cheating idiot and his d**kish, paranoid father ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍) have happy endings together. I really hope Naska is not developing 2nd ML syndrome (TT~TT). Rebecca can stay single and independent (and take over the throne!) and be close friends with Arth and Sasha (yes, I ship them), and Naska can also stay close friends with Sasha (without the romance because, let's not make it complicated than it already is). And of course Lilith and Payne should be part of the circle of friends too. And they can all heal and overcome their traumas together. (Not all intimate/close relationships have to be romantic. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜)

...What if it was Claude who turned back time? And he just only remember fragments and it's her because he was devastated she died? Not saying he was in love with her in first life (though it's possible and it might have been one-sided), but perhaps she was precious as a friend/safe space for him throughout the war with the demons? Or another theory could be that Claude turned into a demon king after his friend/companion/maybe-first-love died and someone else rewound time so they could prevent that... so many possibilities at this point. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I know it's based on ancient China or something where respect for women isn't great, but you'd think an ML in a fantasy world would be a hair better... If he's going to be an acceptable ML, he needs to learn respect, humbleness (and some basic level of honesty with her even if he can't tell her everything), and give her some damn room instead of trying to control her in his "protectiveness". ( ̄へ ̄)
Ugh... why. Just. Stupid colorism. Just keep her damn skin the same beautiful dark it was before. Change her hair color or something... Anyway, rant aside, I'm glad the author didn't have her forgive the parents (particularly the mother). The manga could be salvaged still I think if the author decides to use this crappy skin-color-change/blessed-by-the-Light-Spirit-King thing to showcase the ugliness and fickleness of humans who discriminate people based on appearance and their irrational fears. So long as the author doesn't gloss over the issue and make everything/everyone become peachy after all this and continue to address the issue, even better if towards the end, she somehow choses to get her skin back to its original dark color and has everyone accept it and understand that they were wrong and they make efforts to be better... but of course, I'm skeptical about the author going in this direction.
