Reading the comments is so frustrating yet so funny. An argument i have seen extensively is always "if you don't like it, just leave" towards people who voice their criticism, frustration or even when they bash *certain* characters. This is a comment section for a reason. I know everyone is frustrated at each others comments as well as at how the story went on so far. But cant we refrain from calling each other names or insulting each other? Cant we just enjoy the story or hate-read the story just how we want it? And if you really disagree with someone elses thoughts and comments, how about actually giving that person a change of perspective, no matter if its pro or against the story, instead of telling them to leave, cuz that way, you won't be able to make them leave at all.

Right? A story is piblished for readers, in return, the readers give feedback to the story. We are not robots just consuming and not given a chance to give constructive cristicim about a piece we've read. If no one ever commented on a story, how will someone know how good the story is?? There's a reason why books has reviews and ratings even in good read.

I think there is a fine line between constructive critisism and "Dan is a wimp, let his grandmother die so he can grow some balls for my satisfaction", "Jaekyung kys, you haven't suffered enough for my liking". These are the types of comments receiving the so called "If you don't like it then leave" response.

And I think you both need to reconsider this response. For reference, all I read is "If you can't understand and see the story for what it is, if you can't decentralise yourself from the plotline and acknowledge that others will make different choices for their own journeys which aren't made to align with your preference, then this story isn't for you".

It is really dehumanising to constantly critisise a protagonist's decisions because of what you think would be best for them. You are not them. This also reflects your attitude towards real-world relationships with other people. It concerns me that people are so invested into someone else's story that they are disappointed when they don't hold any influence over their decisions. Of course, because it's their story, not yours.

The moment these people look at the protagonists for who they are and how much the unraveled events have actually affected them, rather than how much they think the events should have affected them, it will be crystal clear that both protagonists have been suffering from the start. And the suffering they are both experiencing right now is well beyond what they can handle.

When I read "horseyoung u bitch" I don't consider it as an opinion, sorry. Those ppl polluting this comment section have nothing to do here. I just want to discuss about the plot/characters/events. I tell them to leave coz obviously those kind of ppl cannot handle toxic stories and just sporting nonsens. I've never till this day read a construcrive comment of a person actually hating the story.

I see your points and agree how it is dehumanizing towards a character. But you have to keep in mind that a lot of people use reading manhwa or manga as an escape mechanism. . These stories are usually fictional ones. While just saying its fiction anyways isnt really a giod arguemt. This fiction can be an escape. A lot of the times they are just deflecting. Saying stuff they usually would never. So what if they yell and say insulting things at the characters. Let them be. Concentrate on your own discussions and opinions. Be the smarter one and dont give them any attention. You wont be able to make people change on a site like this one.

I agree on there being a fine line between constructve criticism and pure hatred. However i would argue that this site and comment section isnt a criticism only comment section. Usually other people dont reply on your comment or react at all, at least thats what i experienced.

And lastly we are all people online, doing our stuff online more or less anonymously, while our online behaviour reflects a certain part of our real life behaviour, i disagree on your argument about thus so far showing our actual view towards real life relationships. You are basing your argument on the perception that how people act online is always similar to how they act irl. But thats not true. Many people talk and act differently online, a lot of it is because of anonymity. I noticed you write really well and eloquently, going for a personal stab like that is not a good argument i think.

And you obviously dont have to consider them any form of constructive criticism!!
People will always spread hatred and hate comments. Arguing with haters is near impossible. Even with facts. They wont go away. People are voicing their frustration, if they do it well, thats another question. However i doubt they will disappear

I don't disagree that fiction is an escape either. I experience it first hand to an extensive degree. However, I consider it important to check ourselves everytime we are about to pollute the internet with the manifestation of our innermost erratic thoughts, specifically because reading and relating to fiction as a form of escape is a really personal experience. It harms the story's reviews and urges superficial, emotionally charged thinking.

Contrary to your belief that our online behaviour reflects only a certain part of ourselves, I believe it reveals a good bunch about our values and ideals. Anonymity should in no circumstances be an excuse to act abhorrently and evade responsibility. An excuse to let ourselves go and act out on our most whimsical impulses. Those who think otherwise, I will hold accountable and remind. And so should you. Personal improvement is exactly where I wish to aim, but it is not my goal to attack the self. Rather, it is to offer a novel perspective on how to regulate emotions more efficiently.

Instead of incessantly emersing ourselves deeper into the situation, it's good to take a step back and see it all for what is truly is. Oftentimes, we figure out that the reality is much different from how we viewed it before. And it goes for Jinx as well. This is a healthy mechanism, and fiction is one of the best practices through which we can achieve it.

It’s just so bad, I usually wouldn’t mind it.
But I’ve heard so many people call it the best, a classic and cute that it makes it so much worst than it already is.

"especial diet preference" was it ? my boy was like 15 and he was literally kidnapping and a raping a living corpse.
Also that one that was called "I'm dating a bitch yankee"? it isn't finished but it was the worst thing i've read.
Also that one mha dj where bakugo fucked a kirishima turned into a ball of meat (if you've seen the episode about the hero course you'll know what i'm talking about)
And "Obey me" hands down, along with "emergence" poor girl didn't even get paid for all the sex she had

Lord, I held off on reading that for so long. And I really shouldn’t have, I’m a sexual assault survivor and I had a panic attack after finishing it. It was a real trip. Hated both the characters but the story was actually kind of good in a bad way.

Love is an Illusion. It was already pretty bad from the beginning, just kept getting worse and worse, and I eventually dropped it. I literally don’t understand why people like it so much
