Sigh...If you're a chef, shouldn't you be able of buying ingredients of good quality without your skill? Would he have won the competition (assuming he will) without his skill?
Why there always someone comment on his skill or whatever.. not many chef have skill like that and even having that skill if can't cook it's just a waste.. mc just make use of his skill and he can cook to, so whats the problem lol.. the annoying from this manhwa is the romance part and the way author make red-haired girl look so bad ckck
Him using his skill technically isn't a problem, but the fact it only crossed his mind 90 CHAPTERS later that he MIGHT have an advantage thanks to it that is crazy to me. It's nothing big but it's just that the MC is so unlikeable to me (not as in I hate him, but as in there just isn't anything likeable about him), that all the little things about him are starting to catch up to me lol. I decided to drop this anyways which is a shame
Is this manhwa basically about forcing someone to do things they feel they are morally obligated to do? I hate every single character (FL and Ophelia aside), they're all insincere assholes, have no idea what boundaries are, and it seems projecting is their best skill. I feel like I wouldn't be able to not go crazy if I were FL because for now I've never even once had positive feelings for any of the male leads. I would've understood if FL and Ophelia were lesbians, since all the men in their lives are fucking awful.
Unpopular opinion maybe but this fell off. The mastermind reveal was very anticlimactic (who cares about Shibe's father?), and yuuichi's worst crime is not worth the fuss. Like, it is bad, but after reading the entire manga...It just seemed like he had done worse, so that's a bit underwhelming. And now, maybe it's because I didn't binge read it, so I'm not 100% sure, but the current arc feels a bit messy...the mental gymnastics and all that are not as exciting. I still enjoyed reading most of the manga though.
Just because you don't like the fact he ends up with the girl doesn't mean you have to be misogynistic. Perhaps some of you should lay off BL for a bit, it seems like it's rotting your brain.
You definitely shouldn’t be misogynistic but it’s pretty understandable that readers would be upset. This is pretty much a bl-bait if it ends in a relationship between him and hina despite all the buildup of it as harem. I rlly wanted kaede ending or even shirousa ending since they’re both in same circumstance. But so far Hina has been nice if not a bit dull so it’s aight.
People are allowed to feel upset, but a good amount wouldn't be as upset if they weren't misogynistic and hated every single girl they see in BL. There's only 16 chapters, you'd have to be reallyyyy into it to be THAT upset. But I personally don't see it as queerbait, I already had a hunch that he would end up with Hina even before the spoilers, since it was clear to me she's established as one of the love interests.
My problem is that so far hina and akira had zero chemistry. Yes they interacted and it’s obvious hina has a crush on him but, so does everyone and akira at least has some intimate moments with the others. And her being a girl rlly isn’t the problem bc if it was harem with both girls and boys i would still read this.
Strangely my favorite has been shirousa bc i feel like akira and shirousa have a potential for a rlly cute relationship and a solid buildup circumstance for slowburn but idk, hina is just too dull and boring as a character compared to other love interests
The other characters aren't exactly interesting nor deep either. The premise of this manga is that pretty much all characters are made after typical BL clichés (Hina included). I do agree they don't have as much chemistry as Akira with other love interests, however this is a harem, so whether Hina is endgame or not, he's not going to be able to end up with everyone he has chemistry with anyways. (Well, the author did a different ending based on the love interest, it's just that Hina is the canon one.) Besides, if he does end up with Hina, obviously they'll have some romantic moments at some point, so the chemistry is to come. That being said you're free not to like her being endgame because you're rooting for someone else, but it seems that most don't like it for very weird reasons, and are way too invested (this is a comedy manga, it's not that serious at the end of the day)
I’m not into it personally. We don’t know anything about this girl- that’s the issue. If there was some kind of emotional connection to her and us as readers I’d feel differently- but so far most of every snippet of chemistry has been sprinkled into his relationship with the other guys not to mention this is a story labeled w/ a “shonen ai” tag. Saying it’s “mysogynistic” to be urked by this is an insane dramatization.
Again, I'm not saying you can't feel disappointed with the endgame. That doesn't mean people need to call her a bitch (for what?) or try and find flaws in her character when she doesn't have any. Don't act like there isn't a systemic pattern of misogyny from BL fans whenever they see a woman and they think she's gonna get in the way of the couple. Or when BL fans turn to action manhwas and hints of harem are sprinkled here and there so they find nothing better to do than insult the women (that are often underage characters) rather than the author who decided to insert fan-service and objectify women. Compared to that, just not liking the ending is fine. Also, if it's chemistry that they're lacking, then it'll just be added...later? Akira didn't have chemistry with Natsuki either until the last chapter.
I think he loves her but is manipulative as well, both can coexist.
nah wait for the next chapters
Girl, don't leave me there.
Spoil me
Based on what I've read so far I truly believe that he is NOT in love with her. What he loves is control, he made yugyeong into his own kind of sick and twisted definition of trophy wife. IMO, he wanted yugyeong to be just like a doll and never really do anything against to what he wishes (i.e. making sure he gets his daughter). He is incredibly selfish and is basically a terrible fucked up spouse and father overall. In a sense, he's like a puppeteer--i mean, he literally manipulated his way into building a family and treats them like so. If you read more into it, it definitely feels as if he is incapable of love too.
Why did he want a daughter ? Ik there's a connection with the blind woman but we never heard what having a daughter who looks like him meant
if he had a son then that son would fuck him up (acc to the fortune teller) and if he had a daughter, it'll be exactly like him. which is why he "dotes" on her more than her brother
Ohhhh that's why he is so mean to his son. Thanks
