I can't say I prefer the beta or alpha. Both are doing the same thing by giving their future to what fate has in store for them, both seem decent, so I don't understand why the alpha gets so much hate. Especially when the beta was willing to give up so easily. I can't stand when people don't stand up for what they want, that makes me think they aren't passionate about it, otherwise beta is pretty much on the same level as the alpha.
The beta feels like theres nothing he could do since they're fated pairs so its understandable that he gave up so easily. Its not that hes not passionate about it, pretty much all his life he couldnt surpass a alpha no matter how hard he tried so he thinks hes gonna have the same outcome with the omega. I'm sure the alpha gets so much hate for raping the uke and for being such a shitty person.

Its laughable how one dimensional this story is. We don't even know the characters 12 chapters in.

I hate that we haven't seen them together since they started uni. I thought they got into the same school? There's no reason why they can't meet up. But I'm still enjoying the story and new characters, just wish I could see them interact more.
But the price is too darn steep. I'm all for supporting artists, I have a nice collection of manga in my room but!!! Who thought it was a good idea to sell a chapter for $5.99? ANd the more recent ones are like $7.99. That's ridiculous. You might as well buy the whole darn volume which is still too darn high! FOR $17.95! WTH. I mean I'm itching to read but I'm not desperate and not for an unknown author on top of that. I might take the leap if it was one of my fave artists but nah, I'll pass.
Border is already on volume 7 and after a couple of years on JuneManga saying their gonna release Border 4&5 and me waiting on Amazon to finally ship my books I had on preorder for 2 years maybe even more than that, I finally got 4 & 5. Now I have to probably wait forever for 6&7, so I'm glad the scanlators are picking it back up, that way maybe I don't have to wait 2 more years for a volume that's been out already. June is the absolute worst when it comes to series. I had one good experience with a yaoi series (tale of the waning moon) and that was from yen press who I believe don't actually put out yaoi series. I hope sublime is good, never bought from them. Sorry for the rant but this series is so good and June is annoying
Honestly, whoever Mafuyu ends up with, I think I'll be fine with. But I am leaning more towards Banchou and Hayasaka. While I like the Banchou/Mafuyu pairing, I feel its just not gonna happen. So that leaves us with Hayasaka or Takaomi. Unless the author is gonna swerve us (which I wouldn't mind tbh), its gonna be one of the two. I think Takaomi's character went from first crush to playfully mean older brother. So I honestly think she is gonna end up with Hayasaka. Its just too much in the latest chapters pointing towards it, like the memory loss recovery for example.
From reading the comments, I'm glad that the majority of us agree that we prefer Momo with Yone. I don't know why I want it, I just do. They fit. Its weird because in the majority of manga similar to this, I'm usually rooting for the intended couple, but I'm definitely more on board with Yone in this case. Maybe I just don't like the other guy?
I just wish we can finish Takano and Onedera's story. I'm getting impatient and bored. The side couples arent interesting at all. The only side couples that are interesting are Asahina/Isaka and Kirishima/Yokozowa, both of which have their own uninterrupted stories. I really feel that sensei is just dragging this out for no good reason. I quit reading Junjou Romantica for the same reason, though I didnt like it that much to begin with.
Well, I can understand why you're impatient and bored and I think you're not the only one thinking like that. But you know, it's kind of the mangaka's thing... so if you're bored then you shouldn't continue reading b/c it seems this manga isn't going to end soon.
Personnally, I like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. I just love Takano and Ritsu and even though Ritsu hasn't confessed yet, there's been some development in the latest chapters and I just can't wait for the next one ^_^ but well, once again, I understand why you and some other people are bored with this story.
Yea, I know. I've read some of her other works as well. I actually prefer the shorter ones because they don't drag on. I've been trying to drop this, but can't find it in me to do so, because I really like the main story and I need to see Onodera and Takano's happy end. And yes I see the development too, and I'm loving it <3
I skipped over Takano and Onedera's story, I ran out of patience as well. How many time or how much can Takano shows and tells Onedera's how he feels toward him, in my opinion either Onedera's is an idiot or just really slow.
Ritsu would have confessed long ago if Takano listened to him. Ritsu often told him he wanted to do things in the proper order and what did Takano do ? He jumped on him.
And just so you know, they're TWO in this relationship. So it means they're BOTH at fault. Yes, Ritsu is too stubborn and can sometimes be annoying but Takano is also at fault.
Besides, people puts way too much pression on Ritsu, be it Takano or his mother. People are too harsh on him.

i agree. its the same thing over and over. takano or ritsu get jealous and have makeup sex. ritsu telling everyone ELSE that he loves takano, but doesnt tell him. i know he tried telling him a couple of times, but thats no excuse to tell him again until he listens. thats the same as people saying they wont admit to cheating because they arent given a chance. if you really want ot say something, you will make sure to say it.
For everyone asking for an update or translation, you can forget about it since it's been licensed by June. And I can't even buy it because it's out of print :( But I read the novel 2 years ago so it's not a big deal for me. If you want to know what happens READ THE NOVEL. The novel is not licensed, I admit it was a bit hard to find at first but it's out there. And it is much more detailed than the manga.
I tried to give the alpha a chance, he didn't seem too bad at first but clearly he's a piece of . I officially team beta, should've known better, 9 times out of 10 the alpha will be a horrible human being.
