I think only if u compare to the beginning of Viewfinder... especially after Akihito gets shot you can see Asami starts caring (?) and being more gentle (????) in his own way lol and Akihito also starts being less stubborn and kinda childish and more open about his feelings and worries so they developed quite well in the last 15/20 chapters and smexy of course gets hotter ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ but of couse u are correct, even considering the huge difference in length between the two stories Sakaki is undoubtedly gentler in many ways.
