Spiderman shared experience about read 1000 manga or more
Lmao it's so funny seeing people on this site say the rudest shit, just throwing around slurs of whatever in other people's topics/comments/replies but then when you go to their profile (I was gonna just block them and go about my day) they're making posts/replying to post talking (seems to be genuine) about how sad, lonely or depressing their life......
Spiderman asked question about read 1000 manga or more
Hey

Ion know if this an experience or question, I say both. But the only time i can recall meeting an actual good reader on here is once. Like why do people get so offended when you disagree with them?? Did people just forget others share different opinions and not everyone will have the same? And I'm not talking, disagreeing for "funnies" Like let's ......

Spiderman created a topic of Love on My Terms

Didn't realise how many new people hated this As someone who read this years ago I'm excited to reread it and i know people actually liked it back before LMAO. Oh well. I like my happiness
The fact that everyone here's only talking about the "second couple" if they can even be considered such with how short the chapters were I did not think it was a big deal Cause the common thing would be to hate them both and just gush over the main couple, it's called main for a reason
But apparently people don't even like the main couple damn.
Lemme go reread this story and giggle though
Sorry yall had a bad experience

OA and Management I regret it because it has accounts. I overlooked it because it's only for two years and i saw we got the chance to do an internship. Not exactly sure how good this major is but maybe studying business would've been better. Not too different since they're slightly close but idk I just picked this major cause my mum wanted me out ......
Spiderman asked a question

We're all familiar with the term "hyung" right?
Korean honorific/title for a guy older than you. Usually within like kid-young adult range.

Is it just me or is it cringey?
Not the term itself but the use of it in manga.

Like the entire manga would be translated in English but then the translator decides they'll only keep "Hyung" or even other honorifics or romaji (not sure if that's spelled correctly) words in because they think it sounds cute.
i.e "baka" "onii-san"
You'll have the typical tsundere guy get mad/called out about something and the typesetter/translator types "BAKA!!!" instead of "IDIOT!!" Like please...be so fr

Like don't get me wrong. I know these are the "English" translations of the words but I think they're so "romanticized" (Is that the right word?) in mangas that I'm starting to cringe every time I read them.

Not even sure if it happens in straight manga but it happens A LOT in BLs. And it's always the male honorifics. They'll never say "onee san" That's the one time they'll stick the English throughout.

...now that inthink about it, might really just be a romanticized thing on the translators' end because even when you watch anime/dramas in dub you'll hear them say "big brother/sir/mister/big sister/etc" while you'll hear the "onii san/ahjussi/onee san/etc" in sub.

But still give me your thoughts on this because I'm reading a manga where the seme is the puppy type but the way he just calls the uke "hyung" is starting to throw me off SO bad. Like he's "babying" him or something.....I CANT THINK OF THE RIGHT TERMS.

Spiderman asked a question

I have a confession to make...but it's a confession regarding Gummy_bear
So there was a time they asked like two questions and the first one was asking for a rec I think? And then they replied under it asking why do people dislike questions just asking for simple stuff like recs cause what is there even to dislike.
And I.......I disliked it for the funny....a few minutes after they replied again saying someone disliked it but I didn't respond, just laughed behind the screen
Then they made a second question and i disliked that...and they brought it up again and I giggled
The entire time I was like replying to them in other questions acting like everything was fine LMAOOO
Sorry gummy ┗( T﹏T )┛

Spiderman created a topic of Focus on You
Uh

I'm sure this story overall is good
I haven't finished it yet.

But in chapter 23? Why did Jay act like the victim? I'm confused. And I have a feeling the story's gonna continue to treat him as such?
Like when he was doing *that stuff* to Jaeyoon while the man was literally on the phone with his MOTHER.
Like of course any rational person is going to get upset. Who wants to have sex with their parent/family member on the other side of the phone? And he obviously did it out of spite because he overheard the conversation. So even he knew that was wrong. So why did he play the victim card?
And then when Jaeyoon confronted him about the only having sex even though they were dating....he didn't even try to deny it. He just tried to turn the tables by bringing up that arrangement Jaeyoon's mother literally JUST mentioned. Like bro calm down. Even Jaeyoon just found out about it. And with that personality I can understand he's not the type to go against his mother so suddenly.
And then Jay getting upset when Jaeyoon said his mother doesn't like him. Why did he play victim!!! I'm so confused!!!! Wasn't that a given? Based on the flashbacks! And instantly it was noticeable that Jaeyoon only said that because he doesn't want Jay to do something that makes his mother hates him more than she already does because he wants his mother to like him!! Because HE likes Jay!!!
Why was the victim card played on Jay of all people in that situation!!!!!
I felt bad for him early on because it seemed like all he wanted was a boyfriend that cared about him unlike that other guy he had.
And then he got one!! Jaeyoon!!!! Yet when he starts talking to him he acts exactly like his ex or when they finally started dating he acts exactly like his ex!!!!! Jay why you being confusing!!!!

Phew...had to get that off my chest...

Spiderman created a topic of Blood Link

Question: Was there a mistranslation for when Bin met Gok's parents? Like and when they left Gok's dad said Bin was watching Gok's every move, "As if he doesn't trust him" But that doesn't make sense? Trust him with what? Regardless, of course he did

Hot take: Gok was in the wrong when he got upset at Bin for not wanting to keep the baby.
Of course Bin can't tell him what to do given it's not his body. But Gok needed to realise he went behind Bin's back trying to get pregnant. And he wouldn't have kept it a secret if he didn't feel guilty. Bin was just worried about Gok because...let's be real. He only survived for the sake of "sweet story". Not only that but if Gok wanted children so badly they couldn't adopted. A child being blood related doesn't mean they're still not family in the end.
"This is our baby we're talking about" Boy be fr, ts ain't even developed yet.
But hey, it all worked out in the end.
I just didn't like that Gok was upset at Bin for a reasonable reaction

HOTTTTTT Take: BIN CREEPED ME OUT.
Like not throughout the series. Although he was definitely hotter during the second couple's story. Wish we got more of them or even more of the dad and white haired lycan. Forgot their names atm sorry. BUT in the first season after he admitted his feelings to Gok...he became like obsessively....uh....what's the word I'm looking for...like he was definitely obsessive over Gok but also suddenly sensitive to every little thing Gok did?

But yeah that's it
Honestly I only wanna reread about the first couple and the chapters of white haired lycan and the dad. The second couple...they're good but at the same time meh?

I finished Shutline yesterday and it's been 24 hours for sure now.
And I can't find anything GOOD.
Like I'll never find something as good as Shutline :(
I already read roses and champagne

Spiderman asked a question

Where seme/uke is murderous/villainous but soft spot for uke/seme. Preferably smut. But if it's a no smut bl with HEAVY tension like with kissing/touching I dig that.

I've gotten a few recs recently for this under someone else's post but I'm hoping new people see this and give newer recs cause I just finished Shutline and I need MOREEEEEE

Okay off the top of my head, stories like this that I've already read are:
Shutline (ofc)
Roses and champagne
Dangerous convenience store
Kill the lights
A thousand cranes
