I swear every time the MC talks to one of the girls I get so conflicted. Someone literally said "he's like a green red flag" and they're so real for that.
If he wasn't having sex with every girl he finds attractive this would've actually been perfect. Whenever he talks to literally any of them he says such comforting words and he seems so genuine. It's no wonder they're all falling for him but then at the end of the day he's basically just.. "cheating" on all of them. Even though it's not really cheating because none of them are in a relationship. Still...pretty unfaithful cause he's just having sex with them all and intentionally keeping it a secret. While they're catching feelings he's just in it for a good time not a long time
I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT FROM THE MANGA POV NOT IRL. "The MC is pretty guy for genuinely caring about them all" But when you think about it in an irl situation it's exactly like you said There are men/people who do exactly what the MC does. Although this MC could genuinely care about them for the sake of the plot. In irl they wouldn't and they just want a reason to sleep with you until they're bored. Unless you're in a poly
This better end up a poly relationship
Before I start let me just say I forgot their names sorry lol
Okay so I love rereading this manga every once in a while but this time in particular a question appeared
What are you to do in a situation like the MC's when a persistent ex appears like that? And given it's gonna be rl and not fictional, it's not gonna be easy to just tell your boss about your past or call the cops about harassment because there's a chance due to the ex's status they'll just brush it off. Unless there's certain times the cops may look into it
So like...what then? What are you even meant to do to get someone like that to leave you alone?
I was wondering the same thing. In the story it got resolved so easily but in real life it'd be so much harder due to his connections.
I think that irl it'd make sense to first go to the police, and in case they don't do anything about it, try to get a recording like MC did just in case, also ignore them as much as possible at the workplace an in case it gets out of hand like they actually try to do something physical, call the police immediately
I love reading about Nagi and Koto with their Yua so whenever another couple gets screentime I get so bored...Unless it's the tiger and the gangster, I like them
But I wish the author just made separate books for the other couples rather than having them all under one book cause since this is ongoing I'm just skipping the others' chapters and by the time I've finished skipping it's time to wait for new chapters to come out
Idk how making/publishing manga works so sorry if this idea would be too expensive for them or something
I remember there's a story with these highschoolers and one's the president or smth with his VP..there's like 3 other couples besides them (or 2 I cant remember atm) but one volume is for only one couple, if theyre gonna bring in another couple they get their own volume
I think that's why I was able to like and appreciate all the couples for that storyline
Tbh if this was a physical book instead of online @pirate viewing they have a different cover illustration for each volume. Which also highlighted who's pair gonna get the most screen time.
But since this is a webtoon format when you view their website there's only preview for next chapter.
/ You can see on mangaplaza they have different cover for each arc. https://mangaplaza.com/title/0303001553/
Okay so tw: RANTING AND BUTCHERING OF NAMES IM SORRY LMAO
So I see people really love Caeser for not changing his personality from the whole deadly mafia/gangster type and HEY I also agree.
Usually mangas with these types of characters make them super soft in the end just because they fell in love.
With this you can see Caeser doesn't actually become soft but rather just has a soft spot for Leewon if that makes sense
BUT THE MAIN POINT OF THIS COMMENT IS
I love rereading this story from the side stories. And whenever I get to the survival game part...YESSSSSS
Not only because it's steamy but because of whenever Caeser explained to Dimitri that he wasn't gonna take the game seriously...he was gonna play fair...etc...because he doesn't WANT to kill Leewon...me personally..that's kinda romantic..LMAOAOAOAO
The second part is when Leewon found out Caeser was close by the whole time and managed to pin him down easily. The artist showed that Caeser was simply surprised, not scared at all. AND WHY I LOVE THAT? Because he's supposed to be the most ruthless/scariest guy in the mafia. IT SUITS HIS CHARACTER TO NOT GET SCARED OVER SOMETHING LIKE THAT BUT RATHER AND VERY NATURAL REACTION, SURPRISED A LITTLE.
CONTINUING..
Leewon then asks Caesar to play fair.
And immediately his...I can't think of the word rn bear with me. Immediately his bad guy/villain/mafia/ruthless/scary personality kicked in and he took Leewon down with ease.
It's not romantic...BUT I LIKE THAT HIS CHARACTER NEVER BECAME SOFT/WEAK..I JUST LIKE TO APPRECIATE IT
I remember reading this before and thought it was cute but after rereading it again...my opinion differed...
It felt a bit boring sometimes, I can't tell why. I'd always have to switch to another tab and read smth else whenever i got bored which isn't like me. I'll read one manga at a time unless I'm waiting for my chapters or smth
Halfway through, Raymond and Kata acted as though they were dating...not like just pretending for the sake of banter but the way they talked about the whole feelings and confessing thing it seemed like they had genuinely confessed their feelings to each other at one point and there was just never a chapter about it which made me confused but I kept going
Gonna be honest about the end too..I didn't want Teo and Chei to get a happy ending, at all. Maybe Teo could've gotten his own but Chei? No way. After what he put Kata through all those years over his brother dying which wasn't even Kata'a fault? Then to further his anger onto Raymond attempting to kill them both?? Him stepping down wasn't enough for me
But other than that...the idea of the story was good
I get we're supposed to hate the MC but I hate the bullies more? Lmao. I haven't got up to date with the chapters yet but it seems like Somi is STILL the same old bully she was before and now she's getting her other bully friend in on whatever she's scheming? Seems like they wanna keep the bullying going and brother eugh.
I understand the mother caring for her daughters because she's literally a mother. She doesn't know that her "sweet, innocent hard working daughter" bullied someone so terribly. But I get a bit frustrated when she's praising Somi in her head as a means to protect her "sweet daughter"
