I've guessed that oftentimes, the Kaizen translation messes up gender, but also who's talking about who, so lijz at the end of chapter a2, it should probably say "am I comming with you for security reasons" and not "are you coming with me for security reasons". It came up a few times in this chapter, but it doesn't solve all the mysteries.
