Well this is what you get for being jerk. I really feel sorry for what he had to go through in the past, both his family and ex are really terrible. But that doesn't mean he can treat others however he wants.

This is so weird because I can relate to this lol. Being with someone who's afraid of being hurt is really confusing especially if they actually do like you, because they act like they like you but then they push you away. I'm not as innocent as DG so I'm fine, but damn, poor DG. I'm actually really glad he put his foot down and was firm to make decisions that are best for himself

Tbh I am kinda surprised with how much hatred DG has been getting for the last couple of chapters. I've seen people going as far as saying DG didn't "deserve" to be loved by Jiwoon because he wasn't rich, smart or popular. There were also people saying that DG is being childish by treating Jiwoon coldly, since he "accepted" everything from the get go.
I understand we are all sad by Jiwoon's past, and specially sad to see how much it has affected his personality. He went from a nice, loving kid to a total asshole real quick. But, and I think it's import to point, that doesn't necessarily excuse his behavior. In most of the sex scenes (remembering that their relationship status was officially that of "sex friends", so sex WAS a big part of it) Jiwoon came dangerously close to rape: the first time they had sex, or the fated chapter 26, are good examples of Jiwoon's selfishness. I say all this because this is a very common red flag in abusive relationships: the abuser will use their sad past to harbor forgiveness for their toxic and hurtful behavior, which is basically what y'll are trying to do here. Jiwoon had a sad past, but he himself made his sad present by being, honestly, an awful PERSON to DG (note, not a boyfriend, not even a friend, he was awfull as a wholeass person, and worse: ONLY to DG, whom he knew he had the upperhand with, since the kid was so in love with him he'd forgive everything).
Also, another red flag for abusive relationships? Saying that the abused KNEW what they were getting into since the begining (which is true! Initially, abusers usually say things like "I am a terrible person, you should not love meee" in a crying way, both as a manipulation and as a warning). Saying that DG "knew" what he was getting into is a lie. He knew Jiwoon wanted to be sex friends. Being treated as a thing who should accept everything was never mentioned.
Now, it's also important to say Jiwoon isn't the one using his past as excuse or saying DG knew what he was getting into. All he did was think how his past ended up reflecting in the present to the point it hurt him and the person he loves. We were shown that as readers to understand him better. BUT we are using it as a way to excuse Jiwoon and criticize DG who, honestly? Owned up to literally all of his mistakes (truthfully apologized for ruining Alex's show once, and truthfully refused to become his sex friend again because he doesn't want meaningless relationships with Jiwoon anymore).
Now (per raws) it's Jiwoon's turn to do the same: not EXCUSE his behaviour but APOLOGIZE for it (which he hasn't done yet).
And about people saying DG is being childish by ghosting Jiwoon: honestly I would too. It's someone whom DG is trying to forget still, and that in every opportunity they meet, asks for sex with him. "One: don't pick the phone, you know he's only calling cuz he's drunk and alone" etc.

Look it's understandable why DG acts like he does, but currently he's not developed enough to be able to realistically have a good relationship, especially not with Jiwon. He has unrealistic expectations of what romance/relationships are, he has unrealistic expectations of his future husbando, he is so terribly passive which leads to him trying to blame others rather than accept his own contributions, he can't communicate. The last point especially. DG has not once been able to have a productive conversation with Jiwon, he bottles up his wants, his concerns, he lies rather than speaking honestly and facing the consequences, he can never stand up for himself and instead settled into thinking he was his future husbando's sub rather than equal, he relies on binge drinking in order to get confidence which ultimately makes him blurt out things in an arguement that resolve fuck all and only lead to him getting hurt, like when he got jealous over Jiwon doing his job and nearly outed them both because DG wanted to show he was more important than any other fan, he can't give others respect and compromise, in the rain scene chapter he should have known that such a setting for a conversation was never going to give answers or resolve anything. Shouting in the rain, and expecting a rushed 'right' answer back, is the work of a soap opera rather than showing anything productive. DG throughout their relationship thought Jiwon was a mindreader, he selfishly probed Jiwon's trauma because he only cared about how it would affect him retaining contact with Jiwon, he assumes, he doesn't give others the space to speak and listen, DG is either meek or arguing, he doesn't reflect or grow, assigning blame on others rather than looking at what he need to improve on or the mistakes he made. This isn't to give Jiwon a free pass, because he fucked up too, but Jiwon has reflected, he's grown, he's admitted what he did wrong, and is trying to work on this, but isn't setting fairy tale expectations. It's worth noting that both of them are still "in the closet' to people they know in their daily lives, Jiwon making a comment in his tutorial that DG looked nice, was otherwise insignificant, but really, Jiwon has until now never been affectionate like this to DG, he's also never honestly expressed himself in university, let alone something that identifies that he finds another man attractive. This was quite a step forward, and hopefully for the plot when they do get together they wont be keeping their relationship a secret from everyone, that they can be honest and just a boring normal couple on campus which would likely aid in Jiwon recovering from his family abuse where he felt he needed to wear "masks".

Guys in DG’s eyes Jiwon is an insensitive jerk who doesn’t love him and who is only interested in having sex with him. So yes he’s running away from him because he’s hurt and he doesn’t know that the one hurting him is hurt too. Jiwon should tell him the truth but he’s too passive or maybe his love is not enough strong.

And yes what does it feel to be the one being advoided now ? Honestly, Jiwon is still thinking and being passive when DG is moving and giving him the cold shoulder. Jiwon did the same thing when Dg was the one clinging to him. If Jiwon doesn’t work to make things better sure another guy will snatch DG from him.
