I feel that Godo isn't stable enough for a lover. He'd probably only see Kyose in the kid, and in the end kill him. No real basis for that idea, but I've read a lot, and with this style of story, it could easily happen.

I think I should be okay with not liking the girl(at the moment it may change later). Not because I'm ignorant and narrow minded. However I say the author should be proud that their was an a big reaction out of the audience. Yeah it hurts to see a creation of art be dislike but it should how deeply the audience is fond of the characters. So when we finally see the bigger picture of the climax plot. We just may end up feeling sympathetic towards the girl or be more understanding of her responds.
Simple thing, it is majestic how the author is able to pull you in to the story and make you feel sad happy and angry when something happened to the characters. (However people should be more open mind instead of assuming derogative terms towards anything)
