I don’t see why they don’t use Leslie’s shadow control to protect her from touching it. Like, if it’s coming into contact with her skin that would kill or hurt her then she could just have the shadows cover her skin? I imagine that all that work she’s been doing to perfect her control over the shadows has to be able to do that at the very least ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Eli’s character trope is so on par but that girl is a hot mess, like as someone who was raised by abusive parents I can 100% understand how she turned out the way she did, honestly I really hope to see character growth with her. Like over coming her twisted childhood and try to make amends for being a shitty person but I also highly doubt her character will fade out like that lmao
“Foundation festival” is probably referring to “Foundation day” or a festival for the foundation of the empire/country
