I know this author had the hot for writing 'dark' stories but I cant stand it when they downplayed the traumatic effect of rape. Hes beaten up, blackmailed and raped at the same time and aside from getting sick the author didnt show him dealing with the traumatic effect like well he didnt have a problem to fuck another guy after that. Its what makes me sick when it comes to this kind of trope.
Rape, homophobia, and misogyny in one fckn place fckn chile
I want Dojin to snap out of it and like "You know what teach Im done chasing you" and start using separate room and stuff idk just move on ??? (it wont likely happen cause they end up together in the raw but yeah Jiho is annoying)
I think this is playing it smart. You don't just fall in love with someone because they hit on you. It takes time and memories for love to cultivate. Apearances and words aren't everything when it comes to love, so I actually applaud the creator for making the situation so realistic. It makes the wooing and the chasing much more relatable and you can't help but want to root for both of them. Not to mention the past that we have only had a glimpse of. People can hold on to hurt for a long time, and like I said before, words aren't everything, and sometimes people won't believe you even if you put all your emotions into what you say.
No. Its unfair to Dojin. Jihoo is insecure bc of his past. He measured Dojins feeling based on his own past and not seeing Dojin for who he really is. If he wasnt ready for a relationship then dont jump into one, instead he keep contradicting himself. Acting like he didnt want a relationship but wanted Dojin to woo him. In the end whatever Dojin does will be pointless bc Jihoo keep comparing him to the guy in his past. Bad taste
I understand Shiina's perspective but its still heartbreaking to see him choosing a maze when himself is the shortcut to Kasumi happiness since the beginning.
Damn not ready to tear up at that letter scene.
Ps : Shiina working mode is fckn hot.
