ngl i get that nasar feels like a side character, but i love how much the story is focused on phil and how she navigates her crazy ass family dynamic .
i feel like most stories based around the mc being the “villainess” are heavily based around a love interest, but it’s so interesting to see the mc’s conflicting feelings on the people around her, and how she navigates being a “placeholder “ for ellen. instead of focusing on a romance, i love seeing how the mc realizes that she never lived how she wanted for the 7 years before ellen came, and how she’s now building relationships and planning a future that she wants.
the engagement w nasar was definitely on the backburner, but phil had sm going on that she was dealing with on her own that a romantic relationship would’ve felt like too much, at least to me. i’m glad she carried out plans on her own instead of falling in love w nasar and using his power to do all the work. i love the way the story has progressed so far, but i wouldn’t mind a romantic element as well at this point.
also the brothers and legun are all lowk fine asf bro… like the red hair guy… WOOO HES SO FINE ANWAYS I LOVE THIS STORY LMAO

it was so sad to see how happy the mc was before he went to the palace… this story just makes me sick to my stomach. it’s a shame that time and effort is being wasted on conveying such a disturbing plot

It literally is someone telling us THEIR fictional story, the way THEY imagined it… But you have a problem with that? This is the most absurd comment I’ve ever read. If you don’t like this type of deprave, you have thousands of choices to suit your tastes. Don’t dump on someone else’s creation like that? Some of you guys really need to check yourself.

call me a hater but i think the ml is weird bruh…
lowk spoilers
.
.
like in ch 3 when he was randomly like “i like touching and being touched by someone i like”…. like who just says something like that to someone you barely know
and when the mc and ml were in the car together to go to apple picking and the ml was like “my dad doesn’t love me but he sends me money”????? like what????
and in ch 11 when he just pours a bottle of water on himself and walks away
like bro idec about the plot anymore cause this mf is too weird
okay based on what i read in the comments from the novel readers, i think i prefer this ending better than the novel
i feel like it would’ve been crazy for the princess and duke not to defend edith at her trial after she literally spent the entire story proving her loyalty and trustworthiness to them
and then reeze and cedric still getting to rule the duchy (for a while)??? like bro they literally tried to kill everyone be so fr
and then reeze only gets punished bc she tries faking some kid at the emperor’s nephew?? like pls that’s so ridiculous
i feel like the direction the manhwa is heading now is better suited to how the characters have been developed throughout the story. they make the relationships the mc has been building seem worthwhile and the result for her triumph over reeze/author, as opposed to reeze being punished for her own slip up. i think the og novel ending would’ve felt too drawn out in the manhwa, and this ending is just more succinct and makes more sense.
but that’s just my opinion and i didnt read the novel, so i may be a bit biased
I do agree tho (rven if I haven't yet read the novel), but basing from the relationship she had established so far, this kind of ending would've made more sense rather than oushing it into a tragedy of Edith
