Ngl I don’t like joel very much, my opinion might change as the story progresses but right now he just seems like a person that can’t keep his priorities straight. He jumps from talking about how he messed up with Jesse Andy how his shit got mixed into it to “yes I like this person and might start dating them” seems like he’s just jumping around Andy forgetting he’s seriously fucked up with his son and he needs to fix it.
I hope as the story progresses, Joel and Jesse can actually talk their problems out. But right now it’s looks like it’s not the first thing Joel wants to do, instead he wants to go make sure the person he likes is eating. It’s actually made me really angry!
Idk I know this isn’t a BL webtoon but I want there to be some clarity between Joel and Jesse.

Right so... I know this might seem stupid but, why am I not getting the physical changes of the characters? Like in the first few chapters Haebin was smaller than youngewon right? Was it just a time jump that I missed or a chapter I might have accidentally skipped over where haebin got so much bigger??

Like they had decided on the character designs but then something didn’t feel right about the seme looking that small compared to the uke so they gave him an unspoken growth spurt. Idk just seemed odd to me.
I think it was cause the author didnt like the appearances and changed their height n stuff. I dont get it either and there were a ton of people who got mad over it. Tbh i started to dislike the story after the changes so it makes a big difference
I personally didn’t hate the seme being so small, their relationship was so cute at first and i liked that the uke was the one controlling the relationship and he looked dominant. When the seme became so big he started taking the control but I think it would have worked just as well if the seme stayed small.
I thought I was the only one. I do prefer the seme taller than the uke but it did bother me a lot that they made the seme grow so much in just one month, it did not make sense, he looks like a totally different character. Now I´m more interested in the second couple (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Totally agree! Obviously I still think it was a good read but that one little nagging feeling of “the character growth doesn’t seem right” is always there when reading this or reread if it.

I think most of us get that haha. I just personally didn’t like how fast the growth happened, it actually got me really confused at one point because I thought it was a completely different guy. I read this webtoon the whole way through but it just make me feel a bit odd and kinda was always at the back of my mind that the seme had a growth spurt that was done in one whole chapter instead of a gradual growth in body. After I finished the manga it just gave off a feeling like the mangaka suddenly changed their mind about how the seme looked and changed it just because they didn’t want to follow through with the seme being smaller than the uke
I know! that´s exactly what happened to me. In a ´´Lover boy´´ the seme was smaller and then, went away for one year and came back taller. That was ok because it was enough time and he was still a young man but here, the change was in ONE MONTH. I don´t know why the author did it tho, but she/he is a good author, I loved her other work so much ´´Love me more´´ was very good.

I absolutely love this manga as well and I havnt had a chance to read their other books but I love the art style, i never meant to say that the story wasn’t bad but it was just so,thing that was bothering me once I had finished reading it, I reread it because I had thought I missed a chapter by accident or maybe I scrolled past something without realising but I definitely didn’t and it was just something that I was puzzled about
I think it was just meant to be a growth spurt to help give him a more masculine look of a seme. It does happen to a lot of guys the first/second year of college they’re all tiny and then just change out of nowhere
Right so... I loved this manga! But I really wanted to know how it would go if they came out to their friends and family. I know it might have not been necessary to some people but there was that chapter where the seme was jokingly shouting about him telling his mum then and there. It gave the the expectation that there was going to be a coming out. Idk other than that the manga was super cute and different to other manga that iv read. I like the little bit of drama in the manga, some mangas have too much drama and misunderstandings but I was satisfied with this manga. SUOER GOOD READ!
So I know a lot of people have strong feelings about the ending, but.... idk I liked that it ended there. It left a “I want more but I’m glad they’re happy” feeling. I know that it’s a bittersweet ending but I felt like I learned so much about each character along the way and I love doing how they slowly adapted to be better for each other. I liked the ending, it made me feel like they chose to be with each other, and yes they had to leave a lot behind but they did it for each other. They wanted to be happy and they found a way to do it. They went through so much shit and they’ve finally found peace. I love that they both ended up doing what they actually love doing in the first place. It’s more than a story about a couple, instead the ending is about two people finding each other which I’m turn, helps bring them both to their core.
I loved this manga and I’m so sad that I’ll never be able to read it for the first time ever again!
I’m seeing a load of comments about rape culture. And I get it... kinda?
Right so everyone knows rape is not a situation anyone should be in! And I’m not trying to offend anyone with the comments I’m making on this manga!
I do understand the whole point of rape. Untrue Andy that in yaoi, rape basically is normalised and it shouldn’t be. I think what I’m getting from this story isn’t that it is normal, but the mental stability of each character isn’t right.
Rape culture isn’t right but any5ing that’s done without consent to anyone isn’t right. I really enjoyed reading this it was all about rape Andy is t was absolutely disgusting and all the characters are fucked up but that really appeals to some people. I do t think normalising rape isn’t good but I also don’t think that’s all that’s going on with this story. It’s not like the story was set out with stable minded characters that just rapped because they got angry. All these characters were fucked up in one way or another.
Again, I’m sorry is this offends anyone. I don’t mean to do that I just didn’t think this story was really intending rape culture, but it was showing how fucked up people can be from being in love Andy getting obsessed with the feeling.
