Gaslighting a strong independent woman that she can't live without a man. I know a career woman like this who was forced by her husband to resign from work, stay home and take care of the baby. He doesn't even allow her to wear makeup and dress up. He always checks her phone's call logs and messages and screens the people she can only meet or speak with. But what's more infuriating is that the woman allowed him to do it to her in the name of love. I mean wut?
I'm going to start reading this. The description made me think of the anime Ciao Marco. My late mom loved that anime and she kept crying for the boy that was desperately looking for his mom. And the ending had her bawl her eyes out. This has a high rating so my bars are high.
Perfection! This has humor, drama, authenticity, action and morals all morphed into a wonderful 36 chapters of page turning story. It deserves a reread. It's a children's story and also a reminder for adults especially to parents. I so loved this!
